Praxis Business School, Kolkata Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

PBS Kolkata has various scholarship schemes. PBS Kolkata scholarships are categorised into three types. These are

• Director’s Merit List 
• Praxis Business School Foundation Scholarships 
• Women in Tech Scholarships 

Basic Eligibility Criteria

• All students who meet the criteria for the scholarships can apply for those.
• A student can apply for a scholarship under only a single category at the time of admission. The performance of the scholars will be evaluated closely for the renewal of the scholarship every year.
• Students need to have a minimum CQPI every trimester to be eligible for continuing with the scholarship(renewal).

Scholarship of Rs 2,00,000 

• Divided as Rs 50,000 per Installment
• Be in the top 25% of the class and maintain a minimum CQPI of 5.2 out of 8 in each trimester
• Actively participate in Extra and Co-Curricular activities held
• There should be no year gap or backlogs during the academic career.
   

Praxis Women in Tech (WiT) Scholarship

Eligibility: All selected women candidates for the post-graduate program in Data Engineering

Praxis WiT (Women in Tech) Scholarship is given to encourage and support women’s greater participation in technology and data-related careers. This is to enforce gender diversity in the workforce, especially in tech, bringing immense value to the organisation, the economy, and society.

The Praxis Women in Tech (WiT) scholarship is awarded to all women aspirants applying for the industry-endorsed PGP Data Engineering programme.

Scholarship of Rs 1,00,000

For the scholarship holders of Rs 1,00,000, the applicable PGPDE course fee will be Rs 2 Lakh.

Scholarship for Postgraduate Programme in Data Science

The total amount of scholarships offered is up to Rs 10 lakh for ‘Director’s Merit List’ and ‘Praxis Business School Foundation Scholarships and Rs 1 Lakh for each women aspirant fulfilling the criteria for ‘The women in Tech Scholarship’.
