Yenepoya University (YDC), Mangalore Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

The Yenepoya University scholarships are offered to support deserving candidates from socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. Merit-cum-Means scholarships are available from Yenepoya University to deserving students. Candidates are chosen using a merit-based combined method. While evaluating, the marks earned on the qualifying exam are taken into account. Only candidates who are eligible for selection are evaluated in terms of their qualifications. Students who received 80% or higher on their class 10th, 12th, plus I, and plus II pre-board exams or midterm exams are eligible to enrol. Students from the districts of Dakshin Kannada and Udupi in the state of Karnataka as well as Kasargod in the state of Kerala may apply. 

It should be mentioned that applicants from Muslim minorities would receive preference. Applicants who are interested in applying for the scholarship may submit their application on plain paper along with the necessary documentation to The Secretary, Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, Yenepoya University Campus, University Road, Deralakatte.

A programme called the Yenepoya Scholarship Programme was started by the Yenepoya Foundation and the Yenepoya Trust to assist students in pursuing higher education at the Yenepoya constituent colleges (Deemed to be University). Students who qualify must complete the Yenepoya University scholarship application form in the correct format in order to be considered for Yenepoya University scholarships. The scholarship amount is disclosed on the university's website and is subject to change each year. To be eligible for Yenepoya University scholarships, applicants must take care of the following requirements.

• A candidate may only receive a concession under one category.
• To receive the higher amount of Yenepoya University scholarships, the categories cannot be combined.
• The costs for things like books, exam fees, and hostel lodging are not covered by this scholarship.

The scholarship at Yenepoya University must be renewed each year and requirements include passing the exam on the first try and maintaining a minimum score of 70%. To be eligible for this award, you must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75%. Students who are interested in receiving financial aid under this quota must have participated in extracurricular activities and athletics, and they must also present a conduct or character certificate from the HOI.

Scholarships at Yenepoya University offer meritious help to deserving students from economically weaker sections.   Candidates are selected on the basis of their merit. When evaluating, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination are taken into account. The capabilities of a candidate are only considered in relation to the candidate who is eligible for selection. Students with 80% or higher in class 10th, 12th/plus I  examination, and plus II pre-board examination/midterm examination are qualified to apply. Yenepoya University offers a special scholarship in order to support Tibetan students to pursue higher education.

Candidates who wish to apply for the Yenepoya University scholarship should send their applications in plain paper to the Secretary, Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, Yenepoya University Campus, University Road, Deralakatte, together with other needed credentials.

The scholarship is extended to the meritious students seeking admission to MDS, MD/MS, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS programmes for the academic year 2023-24.
