SSN School of Management is one of the leading business schools in India. It was established in 2000. SSN School of Management campus is spread over 250 acres of land. It is situated in Old Mahabalipuram Road, Kalavakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. SSN SOM is an autonomous institution under Anna University. It has been A++ by NAAC. Along with modern and advanced SSM SOM facilities like smart classrooms, an auditorium, hostels, a well-stocked library, medical facilities, a cafeteria, etc, and state-of-the-art infrastructure, the SSN School of Management is well-equipped with all the necessities required for the holistic development of the students.

SSN School of Management course comprises a full-time residential MBA programme under five specialisations. The SSN SOM curriculum set for the MBA course is industry-centric. Admissions to the MBA courses are done through government quota and management quota. SSN SOM government quota admissions are done under the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. Admissions through management quota are done on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/GRE/GMAT/CMAT/TANCET, respectively. SSN scholarships are awarded to students both on the basis of means and merit.

SSN School of Management achieved a placement record of 95% in 2022. As per the SSN SOM placement report, the highest salary that was offered to MBA students was Rs 10 LPA. SSN School of Management offers MBA programme under five specialisations, namely marketing, finance, operations, human resources and business analytics. The SSN School of Management MBA programme is a residential programme, which means that candidates need to stay in school campus during the course duration. The course offered at SSN SOM includes an internship programme of two months duration. SSN SOM MBA course has a total of four semesters. The SSN SOM course curriculum includes foundation courses, professional courses, elective courses, case analysis, discussions, projects and presentations. In the second year, SSN MBA students receive dual specialisation. They can select any two specialisations out of the five specialisations. The SSN eligibility criteria for the MBA programme is that candidates need to score above 60% in 10th, 12th and UG without any backlogs to get admission.

SSN School of Management admissions is done on the basis of entrance exams. SSN SOM MBA admissions are done in two categories. Candidates applying through the government quota need to have a valid score in TANCET. Those applying through management quota need to qualify any one of the following exams: CAT, XAT, CMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, TANCET or any state-level admission tests. The intake capacity under each quota is 60.

• SSN SOM management quota admissions are based on candidate’s performance in entrance exam scores as well as previous academic records. 
• Next, candidates must appear and qualify any of the following exams: CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, TANCET, or any state-level admission tests.
• After the entrance test results are declared, candidates must visit the official website, and fill out the SSN online application form to proceed to the next stage of the SSN SOM admission process. 
• Candidates must enter their entrance exam results on the SSN School of Management online application form.
• SSN then evaluates the candidates based on their performance in the group discussion and personal interview.
• Lastly, qualified candidates then need to get their documents verified and pay the admission fees to get their SSN Chennai admission confirmed.

SSN SOM Admission Process - Government Quota

• SSN SOM government quota admissions take place under the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
• As per the SSN School of Management admission process for government quota, candidates first need to appear and qualify the TANCET, which is conducted by Anna University.
• The single-window counselling session is typically held in July or August at the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, where the candidates have to choose SSN SOM as their preferred institute and then proceed to get their documents verified.

As per the SSN School of Management placement report 2022, 95% of the total registered students were placed in top corporates with an average salary package of Rs 6.36 LPA.
