Infrastructure

University of Auckland
  • University buildings are given a code number which identifies them. Many buildings also have names, so you might hear people talking about "HSB" (the Human Sciences Building) or "Commerce A".
  • Campus maps are the best tool for finding a building using its code number, or for finding which building a particular service is in.
  • The maps have a key which lists the services you might need, alongside the number of the building where that service is located. Simply find the service listed (eg, Admission and Enrolment), check the building number printed beside it (eg, 105), and then look for building 105 on the map.
