University of Manitoba Placements

Practicum Placements Teacher Candidates are required to complete a practicum request form. The placement process is coordinated by the SEO. In most cases, Teacher Candidates are placed at the same school with the same Faculty Advisor for both terms of the school year. Although the SEO tries to accommodate all teacher candidate requests, we also must accommodate our educational partners’ needs. Therefore, not all requests can be accommodated nor can stream specific placements be guaranteed.
