To check the UNIRAJ Merit List 2026 for UG admissions, candidates must follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of the University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) at uniofraj.org/merit-lists.
Step 2: Select the college from the dropdown: Maharaja College, Maharani College, Commerce College, or Rajasthan College.
Step 3: After selecting the college, select the programme from the second dropdown: BA, BCom, BSc, BCA, BBA, BPA, BVA, BTech, or MTech.
Step 4: The merit list for the selected college and programme will load. Check for the application number or name to confirm selection.
Step 5: If selected in List 4, note the document verification schedule. Verification runs from July 22 to July 24, 2026, at the respective college campus.
Step 6: After document verification clearance, pay the admission fee online at https://www.uniofraj.org before July 24, 2026, to confirm the seat.

Students selected in the merit list must report to the respective college with original documents on the verification date.
Carry originals and two sets of photocopies of:
- Class 10 marksheet and certificate
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- Character certificate from previous institution
- Transfer certificate and migration certificate
- Domicile certificate (Rajasthan students)

Step 2: Report to the allotted college for document verification between July 22 and July 24, 2026. Carry all original documents.
Step 3: After document verification, pay the admission fee online at https://www.uniofraj.org before July 24, 2026. Missing the deadline forfeits the seat.
Step 4: Collect the admission confirmation receipt. Keep this for all future college records.

University of Rajasthan's four constituent colleges are the most prestigious institutions directly under the university. Maharaja College is a leading Arts and Social Sciences college in Jaipur, established in 1844, and is one of the oldest institutions under UNIRAJ. Maharani College, established in 1944, is a premier women's college offering BA and BSc programmes. Commerce College is Rajasthan's most sought-after institution for BCom, BBA, and BCA. Rajasthan College offers BA, BSc, and BVA programmes. All four are government constituent colleges, which means their fees are significantly lower than private colleges and their merit cutoffs are among the highest in Rajasthan. Admission to these four colleges is through admission.uniraj.edu.in and requires Class 12 marks of 90 percent or above for most programmes at General category.
Yes. Students from outside Rajasthan can apply to University of Rajasthan constituent colleges through admission.uniraj.edu.in. However, non-Rajasthan students face a higher eligibility threshold. While Rajasthan domicile students need a minimum of 48 percent in Class 12, non-Rajasthan students must score a minimum of 60 percent in Class 12 to qualify. This 60 percent applies regardless of category for students from other states. Additionally, non-Rajasthan students without Rajasthan domicile certificates compete in the general merit pool with this higher threshold applied. Certain exceptions exist for female applicants who have migrated to Rajasthan through marriage to a Rajasthan resident. University of Rajasthan constituent colleges are government-funded, making them among the most affordable degree colleges in Rajasthan. The total tuition fee for the complete BA programme at constituent colleges is approximately Rs 5,420 to Rs 6,240 for the full three to four year duration. BSc and BCom fees are in a similar range. Hostel fees at UNIRAJ for students requiring accommodation are approximately Rs 28,478 per year. Students selected in the merit list must pay the semester fee at the college accounts section during physical reporting. Each constituent college will confirm the exact fee for 2026-27 at the time of admission. SC and ST students and students from economically weaker sections receive fee concessions and scholarship support from the Rajasthan state government. Fee payment is mandatory on the reporting date itself to confirm the seat.
