  • St. Thomas ranks 113 among 280 schools in the National Universities category of the 2014 "America's Best Colleges" survey.
  • St. Thomas graduate and professional programs in business, education, law and social work are included in the Best Graduate Schools rankings published by U.S. News & World Report.
  • Undergraduate engineering and business programs at St. Thomas have been ranked favorably by U.S. News & World Report magazine, and high school guidance counselors also have ranked the university.
  • Undergraduate programs at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business placed 80th of 145 eligible programs nationally in rankings published this week by Bloomberg Businessweek. The school jumped 26 places from its previous rank of 106.

  • St. Paul Campus

    • The 78-acre St. Paul campus consists of the original 45-acre campus, five acres of adjacent properties and 28 acres of the Saint Paul Seminary campus that was ‌transferred in a 1987 affiliation between St. Thomas and the seminary.
    • The main campus, built on a farm site once considered "far removed from town," is located where St. Paul's stately Summit Avenue meets the Mississippi River.This part of campus includes the Anderson Student Center, the O'Shaughnessy Library, the Anderson Athletic and Recreational Center, the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas and several residence halls.
    • The St. Paul south campus, situated west of Cretin Avenue and south of Summit Avenue, is the site of two residence halls, the Frey Science and Engineering Center, Brady Educational Center, Anderson Parking Facility, McCarthy Gymnasium, the Facilities and Design Center and the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity. The western edge of the south campus borders the Mississippi Gorge Regional Park.
  • Minneapolis Campus

    • In fall 1992, the university opened a permanent, $25 million, 150,000-square-foot campus at 1000 LaSalle Ave.

    • The building, named Terrence Murphy Hall in May 2000, hosts the Opus College of Business. Next door to Terrence Murphy is Schulze Hall and the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship. North of Terrence Murphy Hall is Opus Hall, opened in summer 1999 and home to St. Thomas' College of Education, Leadership and Counseling. Connected to Opus Hall is a K-12 magnet school opened in 1999 by a consortium of nine Minneapolis area school districts. The city of Minneapolis owns a 640-car parking ramp under the two buildings.

  • Bernardi Campus

    • The University of St. Thomas' Bernardi Campus is located on the west bank of the Tiber River at Lungotevere delle Armi in Rome, Italy.
    • Purchased by St. Thomas in 1999, the Bernardi Campus provides ‌housing to St. Thomas students and others participating in academic and summer programs and offers accommodations for overnight guests. Situated in the Prati neighborhood, the campus is near both the center of Rome and Vatican City.
