    To get admission in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies MBA course, students shall have a minimum of 70 percentile in MAT/CMAT exam. Students with less than 70 percentile will have to appear for UPES Management Entrance Test and qualify the examination. Hence, with 72 percentile, you can get admission without appearing for the UPESMET.

    There is attached wash room, air conditioner, and geyser is there in each room. Permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load up-to 5 ampere per apartment. In-campus Hospital facility is there with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the respective students and so on.

    BBA is a 3-year graduate program. Those who are inclined towards management studies can opt for BBA. The course is one of the most popular courses and is renowned as a well-known course among the students. The students who graduate with a degree in BBA from LPU are qualified to give competitive exams, apply for the post of process managers, risk analysts, development executives, human resource managers, and many others. After completing BBA, you can apply for higher studies by joining dual or integrated programs. Placement companies: Various companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, HCL, etc., offer on-campus job opportunities. Cognizant has a placement record of placing over 600 students in a single day. So, you should not worry about the placements. Students also get trained in the same company in which they are placed. The BBA course offers knowledge and training in management and leadership skills to prepare them for managerial roles and entrepreneurship. The eligibility for the program is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. The management, commerce, and economics programs at LPU are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programmes (ACBSP) of the USA. BBA includes Live Projects and Consultancy, Entrepreneurship Projects, Industry delivered certifications (Voluntary), Cutting Edge Courses in Workshop Mode for Hands-on Experience, Experiential Learning Activities & Business Games, Innovative Pedagogy, Close Interface with the Corporate World.     Being a management student of this university, I would say a big NO if you really wanted to do MBA than just go for LPU it is best university for management and yes for other subjects also. Industrial exposure, Internships are there and moreover best placements opportunities for management students are there in the university. According to LPU officials they usually say that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. 500+ companies visit to the campus and university provide them the best of the candidates who are already industry ready. People who think that they can study from where ever and it will be best for them, then I am sorry to say this, that if u what to study for just a piece of a paper then please go ahead these universities/collages are no harm.

    UPES is a good university, I am not that much aware of UPEs, however I can share the detail of LPU. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Microsoft. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculties. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course which improves the learning experiences of its students.

    University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun has multiple merit-based scholarships available for each course. The scholarships are offered to meritorious students in the first year and can be renewed for the subsequent years as per the policy of the university.

    BBA Scholarships at UPES

    • BBA Scholarships at UPES are provided on Class 12th merit and provides 50% tuition fee waiver to students with 75% marks in Class 10th and 12th.
    • Uttarakhand State Board Toppers are also offered scholarships for the BBA course.

    MBA Scholarships at UPES

    • MBA Scholarships are provided on the basis of percentile score in MBA entrance exams.
    • 75% to 100% tuition fee waiver is provided under these scholarships for the first year.
    • Minimum eligibility criteria is 80 percentile in CAT or 90 percentile in UPESMET, MAT or any other national exam.

    Yes, admission to the BTech courses at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun is currently ongoing. Please note that the university has cancelled the UPESEAT exam for BTech and admission is being done on the basis of Class 12th board exams.

    UPES is about to wind up the 3rd round of its BTech admissions. You can apply for the 4th round of BTech admission at UPES. The last date to apply is 10 September.
