VIT Chennai admission to B.Tech is based on TNEA. Candidates have to appear in the TNEA counselling for B.Tech admission. The TNEA 2025 applications start in May, 2025. The institute offers a B.Tech programme in different specializations. Admissions are considered based on class 12 scores with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. August 07, 2025The TNEA 2025 Round 3 choice filling has started for candidates with ranks between 1,37,711 and 2,39,299 at tneaonline.org. The last day for choice filling is Aug 09, 2025. Tentative allotment will be released on August 10, with confirmation due by August 11.
July 29, 2025The TNEA 2025 Round 2 tentative seat allotment has been published on tneaonline.org. Candidates are required to confirm their allotment by July 30. The provisional allotment will be announced on July 31, while the final allotment for candidates who opted for the "upward" option will be released on August 7.
July 28, 2025The TNEA 2025 Round 2 choice filling process has commenced for candidates with ranks between 39,146 and 1,37,710. Candidates can complete the choice filling until July 28, 2025. The provisional seat allotment result for Round 2 will be released on July 29, 2025.
July 17, 2025TNEA Round 1 tentative allotment is now available on tneaonline.org for candidates with ranks between 1 and 39145. Candidates must confirm their allotted seats by July 18. The official allotment letters will be issued on July 19, 2025.

I completed by B.Tech in Information Technology from VIT Chennai and I am quite content with my experience here. Even though the institute does not offer any masters course, the institute has great popularity among the society. My time here has been good and I would definitely suggest this institute to others to pursue education. There are all kinds of facilities available here for the students.
