The average starting salary of a Company Secretary in India is around Rs. 3 to 4 LPA, which rises up to Rs. 8 - 10 LPA with just 5 to 10 years of experience. On the higher end, experience Company Secretaries enjoy an excellent remuneration exceeding the range of Rs. 20 LPA.
