ITI in Draughtsman

ITI Draughtsman (Mechanical) course is basically about mechanical drawing that mainly focuses on the machinery and mechanical tools and devices. ITI is the best forum to learn vocational skills. The course duration of ITI Draughtsman (Mechanical) is 2 years and it is approved by NCVT (National Council Vocational Training).

The eligibility criteria for ITI Draughtsman (Mechanical) are as follows:

•             The candidate must have passed 10th boards from a recognised board and requires minimum 50% marks in the boards

•             The candidate has to qualify for the AIE CET exam to get admission to top colleges

•             No physical disability in the candidate

•             Good eyesight and hearing capabilities.

•             The candidates should be minimum of 15years age.

There are three ways to get admission in ITI Draughtsman (Mechanical).

• Direct Admission- The candidates can directly apply and get admission but they won't get any benefits of scholarship as they don't have to give the entrance exam.
• Merit and Management Quota – There are almost 30% seats reserved for the merit-based candidates and also for quota category seats for SC/ST/OBC/Defense service/Single girl child/EWS/BPL/Kashmiri migrants candidates.
• AIE CET – It is a national level entrance examination. The candidates get a 100% scholarship through this exam. The 70% seats are reserved for the candidates who clear AIE CET in colleges like Puran Murti.
