M. Arch at LPU is a good choice based on my own personal experience. M.Arch at LPU is C.O.A approved professional degree preparing graduates for the full range of professional activities in the field of architecture. The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. In the program, innovative teaching practices are adopted. One such practice is called ‘Experiential learning week’ which is organized every semester in which students are taken to nearby historic and construction sites and are given live case studies to do. In design studios, the professors encourage students to take challenging and practical design problems. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department. The department is actively working to arrange internships by making a cluster of architectural and consultant firms with them. Most importantly they are recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA). Their curriculum comprises of Live Projects, Study tour to overseas projects, they follow collaborative learning with Industries. • Tie ups with industry • Content delivery by industry experts • Projects in collaboration with industry • Internships to engage deeply in hands on real-life situations Placements of the department also shows promising results.
