    • Accounting: Accounting is the most important feature/ topics one must have in Tally ERP. It is the first and foremost thing that comes when you are learning about Tally.
    • Billing: Billing is the essential part of any business. When passing an accounting entry synchronously, a bill is generated which can be used for sending/ raising an invoice etc. Billing option in Tally eliminates the task of entering accounting separately.
    • Payroll: In larger organisations payroll can be used. In order to maintain payroll in Tally various functions of employees such as categories, attendance, pay heads, groups etc are used.
    • Banking: With the expansion of digitisation, banking plays a significant role in the survival and regulation of businesses. With the help of Tally ERP, TDS and GST both direct and indirect tax can be calculated along with returns automatically.
    • Taxation: For any business to survive it should cooperate with the central and state government by paying appropriate taxes. Tally makes it easier for preparing any invoice as it can give Income Tax, Customs, Service Tax, Excise etc. making the calculation of tax easier.
    • Inventory: Another significant thing for any business is maintenance of stock. It will give better control over business sales in incomes.     Syllabus for Distance Programme in Tally

    The Tally Course can be completed via both regular and distance learning. The online learning model is especially preferred by candidates who are already working in accountancy or taxation. The Tally Course helps them handle bookkeeping and other accountancy work with the help of computer software.

    The Tally Syllabus and duration of learning for regular and distance programmes are similar. However, distance learning allows students to stretch the course duration slightly on the basis of their non-availability for a certain period, maximum to 2 years.

    Tally Course Structure

    Tally is offered for 1-3 months as a certification course for 1-2 years as a diploma course that can be pursued after completing 10+2 or graduation or even after post graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.

    Tally ERP Course can be learned within 2 months. In the first month, you will have a basic understanding and in the second month, you will have a bit of advanced concepts like GST, TDS, Service Tax Payroll, etc.
