AP EDCET 2024 Exam Pattern

AP EDCET 2024 Exam Pattern: AP EDCET 2024 Exam Pattern is provided by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The candidates must possess a very strong knowledge of the AP EDCET 2024 exam pattern before they start preparing for the AP EDCET 2024 entrance exam.

Aspirants can attempt the paper in English and Telugu, apart from the English Methodology subject. Additonally candidates who want to attempt AP EDCET in Urdu medium will be given the question paper in English or Urdu.

According to the AP EDCET exam pattern for the year 2024, the question paper will be divided into three sections where it is mandatory for all the aspirants to attempt the first two sections.  In the third section, the aspirants can choose from the available five subjects. The first two sections, according to the latest exam pattern for AP EDCET 2024, will comprise 25 questions each while the third part will comprise 100 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark and the candidates will not be penalized with negative marking in case of incorrect attempts.

AP EDCET 2024 Making Scheme

Provided below is the marking scheme that will be followed while awarding marks to the candidates in the AP EDCET 2024 exam:

  • There will be four options for each question and the candidates have to select the best option

  • The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct attempt

  • No mark will be deducted for incorrect attempts in the AP EDCET 2024 exam

  • For unattempted questions also, there will be no negative marking

  • If a candidate marks more than one option for a question, it will be counted as an incorrect attempt
