The difficulty level of AP ICET is not similar to other MBA entrance exams. CAT, XAT, and MICAT are considered the toughest entrance exams in India. However, exams like TS ICET, KMAT, MAT, ATAM, etc. have the same level of difficulty as AP ICET.
The Mathematical Ability section can be considered the toughest in AP ICET since it involves a lot of calculation-based questions. Since the overall difficulty level of the exam is moderate, no section is extremely difficult as compared to other MBA entrance exams like CAT or XAT.
The number of good attempts in AP ICET varies as per the difficulty level of the exam. Last year, the overall number of good attempts for shift 1 was 100-150 while for shift 2, it was 120+. Once the AP ICET 2024 is over, you will get to know the number of good attempts.
The AP ICET 2025 cutoff is the minimum score you must achieve to be eligible for the counselling rounds. There is no definite cutoff, but there is a minimum required score to pass the AP ICET exam. General category candidates must have a minimum score of 25% (50 marks out of 200).
A total of 200 questions will be asked in the AP ICET 2025 exam. The Analytical Ability section will have 75 questions, the Communication Ability will have 70 questions, and the Mathematical Ability section will have a total of 55 questions.
The exam pattern of AP ICET 2025 defines the total number of questions, section-wise division of questions, type of questions, duration of the test, and marking scheme. According to the exam pattern, the question paper will contain a total of 200 questions, divided into three sections, with each question worth one mark. There will be no negative marking.
AP ICET 2025 exam will be conducted in May 2025 in online computer-based test mode. There will be two shifts, each having a duration of 150 minutes. Sri Krishnadevaraya University will conduct the exam on behalf of APSCHE for admission to MBA/ MCA colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
The difficulty level of the AP ICET exam is moderate. Last year, the exam was conducted on a single day in two shifts. The difficulty level of shift 1 was moderate while shift 2 was easy to moderately difficult.
