CEED Counselling Process 2023: CEED 2023 counselling process is going to be conducted very soon as the CEED 2023 result has been declared on March 07, 2023. Those who qualify CEED 2023 exam will be shortlisted to participate in the counselling. They can check their counselling dates and instructions on the official portal of the entrance exam. There is no common counselling for admission through CEED 2023. Students will have to apply separately to the institute of their choice from the list of CEED participating institutes. They are required to apply for admission only if they meet the eligibility criteria specified by the desired college/ university.

The CEED counselling process and seat allotment will be conducted through an online process. It is necessary for every candidate to carry their original and photocopies of mandatory documents such as the scorecard, admit card and certificates at the time of counselling. If any candidate fails to present the required documents to the exam venue, they will not be considered eligible for admission at the CEED accepting colleges.

Which Stages are involved in CEED Counselling 2023 Process?

CEED 2023 counselling process will involve the following stages:

• Design Aptitude Test Screening
• Personal interview

Design Aptitude Test Screening:

After qualifying for CEED 2023, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Design Aptitude Test Screening.

Personal interview:

After qualifying in Design Aptitude Test Screening, candidates will have to participate and ace the personal interview round. After clearing all the formalities, candidates will then be selected for their desired courses and institutes.

• Notification regarding issued by each Institute for M.Des and PhD admission must be carefully checked by the candidates for CEED counselling 2023. 

• Every aspiring institute will have its own eligibility criteria and requirements. Thus the candidates are advised to go through the eligibility norms of the institute they are targetting.

• Candidates must make sure that they are qualifying eligibility criteria of the desierd institute or else they will be considered ineligible for admission.

• The path leading to the admission will be filled with various checkpoints like entrance exam, interview and some additional selection rounds

• The admission status of the candidates will be determined on the basis of their performance in the CEED 2023 entrance test

• If selected for the interview round, the shortlisted candidates have to pay the required fee.

Steps Involved in the CEED 2023 Selection Process

Here are the steps involved in the CEED 2023 counselling process:

Step 1: Screening of CEED Scores

• In the first step of CEED counselling process 2023, the scores obtained by the candidates will be scrutinized precisely by the exam conducting authority. 

• The candidates’ chances of getting selected in their desired Institute is directly proportional to the marks they score in the CEED 2023 entrance exam. 

• Candidates with higher scores will be preferred and will receive an invitation to participate in the next round of the selection process

Step 2: Design Aptitude Test

• The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be conducted individually by each CEED participating Institute. 

• Shortlisted candidates from the Score Screening round will take this test in the step 2 of CEED Counselling 2023. 

• The decision regarding who or how many will qualify for the Interview round will be taken by authorities after the conclusion of the test. 

• Securing a good score in the DAT will propel the candidates toward the Interview round.

Step 3: Personal Interview

• Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay authorities will prepare a merit list based on the scores acquired by the candidates in the DAT round.

• Only eligible candidates will be invited for the Interview round of CEED counselling process.

• Aspirants must note that only 10% of the total candidates who will apply for the CEED 2023 entrance exam will qualify the DAT round to be shortlisted for the Interview.

Documents Required in CEED 2023 Counselling

Mentioned below is the list of documents required for the CEED 2023 Counselling Process

Original and photocopy of the scorecard on the counselling day. 

• 5-6 recently clicked Passport size colour photographs. 

• Original as well as photocopy of the Caste certificate (if applicable). 

• Original as well as photocopy of class 10th, and 12th mark sheet and CEED exam result 

• Government-issued IDs like- Aadhar card, Voter ID card etc. are also accepted for verification on the CEED Counselling 2023 day.
