The 1st P.A.Inamdar International Moot Court Competition was organized by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) - Patna in collaboration with the MCE Society’s AKK New Law Academy, Pune. The competition witnessed an enthusiastic participation from thirty-three esteemed law universities across the country.
The teams have also been competing in the three-day long events, starting from the April –1st, to April 3rd, 2016. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by the students, teaching & non-teaching staff of the Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), and the other participating teams.
The draw of lots, determining the pools for the competition for the colleges for the competitions for the competition on 2nd of April - 2016, followed the inaugural ceremony.
The competition was inaugurated in the graced presence of the legal giants like Prof.A. Lakshminath, Vice-Chancellor of Chanakya National Law University Patna, Mr. P.K.Shahi, the former Education Minister of Bihar & Mr. Justice A.K. Tripathi from the Patna High Court .
The ceremony started with a floral welcome to and to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi by Mr. Kumar Gaurav and Mr. P.K.Shahi by Ms. Shaista Peerzada, the member of MCE Society. Mr. A. Lakshminath, Hon’ble Vice-chancellor of the Chanakya National Law University, delivered a welcome address, which was filled with a lot of encouragement for organizers and participants.
He talked about highlighting the necessity of moot court in the path of excelling in the field of law. Ms. Nandita S.Jha, the co-ordinator of the moot court was very instrumental in conducting the competition, welcomed the teams and highlighted the importance of mooting
