DNB PDCET 2024 is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to post diploma DNB courses all over India. It is a ranking exam. The full form of DNB PDCET is the Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test. The National Board of Education in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is responsible for conducting the DNB PDCET 2024 Exam annually. After clearing the DNB PDCET 2024, selected candidates need to undergo 2 years of practical training under any NBE recognized institute, medical college, or hospital. After the training period is over, students must pass the final examination to clear their degree. The DNB PDCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria is set by the exam conducting authority which is the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The eligibility criteria consist of several domains like age, academic qualification, and caste. • Candidates need to pass their post graduation diploma degree before 31st December of the application year

The DNB PDCET 2024 Application form will be released by NBEMS in the month of March 2024, on its official website. In order to sit for the exam, the application process is the first and crucial step. The entire registration process for the DNB PDCET 2024 Exam will be conducted in online mode. Students must have an online banking facility in order to pay the application fee. Applicants need to register themselves for the exam by entering some important information like name, address, date of birth, parents' names, etc.

DNB PDCET 2024 Application Fee

In order to ace the exam, students must be well aware of the DNB PDCET 2024 Exam Pattern. Having a thorough knowledge about the exam pattern will help the students to develop an idea about the type pf question and the difficulty level of the test. Accordingly, they can plan their DNB PDCET Preparation Strategies. The DNB PDCET exam is conducted in online mode. A total of 120 questions are asked to the students. All the questions are Multiple choice based and four options are given with each question. For every correct response, students will be given 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. English is the only available language for the DNB PDCET Exam.

The DNB PDCET 2024 Admit Card is scheduled to be released a few days before the exam. Every candidate who has successfully completed their DNB PDCET Registration process is eligible to download their admit card. The DNB PDCET Admit card will be available for download on the official website of NBE. The hall ticket is the most important document that students need to carry on exam day. Some of the crucial information mentioned on the DNB PDCET 2024 Admit Card are

• Date and time of the exam

The DNB PDCET Syllabus 2024 is released before the commencement of the exam by the National Board of Education in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).  Some of the important topics for the DNB PDCET 2024 syllabus are as follows

The DNB PDCET 2023 Result will be released a month after the exam is conducted. Students will be eligible to view their report cards by visiting the official website of NBEMS. All the candidates who have achieved the cut-off marks for the exam will be declared as passed. 

Here are the courses offered through DNB PDCET 2024 exam:

The counselling process for DNB PDCET 2024 will be conducted online, and interested candidates will need to register online to participate. The counselling process will consist of four rounds, including a mop-up round if there are vacant seats left to fill. Only candidates who have successfully passed the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. During the counselling process, candidates will be required to declare their seat choices and lock them in. Once locked, candidates will not be able to change their options. The allotment of seats for DNB PDCET 2024 will be based on the choices made by the candidates, and the results of the seat allotment will be announced accordingly.

Given below are some of the guidelines that candidates must follow on the day of DNB PDCET 2024 exam:

• It is recommended that candidates visit the DNB PDCET exam centre a day before the exam to get familiar with its location.
• Candidates must report to the examination centre on time as per the scheduled time.
• Upon arrival, candidates will have to undergo security procedures such as frisking and biometric registration.
• All candidates are required to cooperate with security personnel.
• Friends or family members accompanying the candidate will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
• The DNB PDCET exam center does not provide any provisions to keep candidate’s belongings such as bags or books.

On the day of the DNB PDCET 2024 exam, candidates must bring:

• An admit card for DNB PDCET 2024 that has a recent passport-sized photograph attached to it.
• A copy of their permanent or provisional MCI/SMC registration.
• A valid, original, and non-expired photo ID, such as PAN card, driver's license, voter ID, passport, or Aadhar card.

Candidates are not permitted to bring the following items on the day of the DNB PDCET 2024 exam:

• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, calculators, etc.
• Personal items such as wallets, handbags, belts, caps, goggles, etc.
• Stationery items like pens/pencils, plastic pouches, erasers, etc.
• Any textual materials like books, notes, etc.
• Ornaments like earrings, bracelets, nose-pins, chains/necklaces, badges/brooches, etc.
• Food items (open/packed), water bottles, etc.
