GITAM GAT Result 2018

The GITAM GAT 2018 result has been announced on 30th April 2018. Candidates can view GITAM Admission Test (GAT) result 2018 in online mode on the official website of the exam. The result of GITAM GAT will show the ranks awarded to the candidates. The rank will be available along with GITAM GAT result.

In order to check the results of GITAM GAT 2018, candidates will have to enter their hall ticket number and date of birth. Candidates must download the GITAM GAT results 2018 for future use. The result of GITAM GAT 2018 will be followed by counselling of shortlisted candidates.

All admissions will be done on the basis of merit of the GITAM GAT candidates. Candidates will be given direct admission if they secure the first rank in the state and central board examination or equivalent examination. For admission to the Bengaluru campus, 25% of seats are reserved for the meritorious candidates of the state of Karnataka.

Steps to Download GITAM GAT Result 2018:

• Visit the official website of GITAM University and click on the link 'GAT - 2018 Result'.

• After clicking on the link, you will be directed to a new page.

• On the same page, candidates will have to enter the GITAM GAT hall ticket number and date of birth.

• Clicking on the ‘Submit’ tab will display the result on the system.

• The result will show candidates' scores and ranks.

• Candidates must download the result and keep 2-3 photocopies of the result for admission process.

GITAM GAT Rank List 2018

• The GITAM GAT rank list is announced by the admission committee of GITAM University.

• It includes the rank of candidates who qualify in GITAM GAT 2018.

• The candidates who appear for the computer-based test (CBT) can check their results now.

• The inter-se merit/tie-breaker method is applied to resolve if there is a tie between the equal rank of two or more candidates.

• For B.Tech candidates, the higher marks in Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry and the age of the candidates are the methods to break a tie.

GITAM GAT Cut-off 2018

The cut-off of GITAM GAT 2018 will be issued by the University for candidates to know the minimum marks required for admission to various UG and PG programmes. GITAM GAT 2018 cut-off will be prepared by the admission authority on the basis of the number of candidates appearing in the exam, the total number of seats in each programme, last years' cut-off trends and difficulty level of the examination.
