Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is a state-level entrance examination which is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB). GUJCET is conducted by the GSEB every year for those students who are 10+2 qualified from a recognised Board and are looking to get admission into Diploma/Degree programmes in Engineering & Technology and Pharmacy courses offered by the Government, Autonomous, Government-in-Aid and Self-Financing Institutes in the Gujarat state.
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is responsible for smooth conduct of the GUJCET counselling and seat allotment process. The merit list, which will dictate the counselling and seat allotment process will be prepared, keeping in mind, the performance of the candidates in their Board examination and GUJCET exam both. 60% weightage will be given to the candidates’ Board exam percentage and 40% weightage will be given to their GUJCET percentage score to prepare the merit list.
Once the counselling process for GUJCET is successfully conducted, the candidates will be allocated seats in various GUJCET participating colleges offering Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology Degree or Diploma programmes.
