The Gujarat Common Entrance Test, commonly known as GUJCET is a state-level entrance exam for admission to the undergraduate courses B.Tech and B.Pharma. The GUJCET exam is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The exam is conducted in the pen paper based mode (OMR) with MCQs covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. The total number of questions is 120, with 40 from each subject. GUJCET application form 2026 will be released in December2025. Candidates will have to log in to the portal and register with a valid email ID and password to access the GUJCET application form 2026.

GUJCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria is released by GSEB Gujarat on the official website. Candidates are advised to review the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for the GUJCET 2026 Exam. The eligibility requirements for GUJCET are determined along multiple parameters, such as the candidate's age limit, nationality, domicile, educational qualifications, qualifying marks, etc. Applicants failing to meet any of the conditions laid down by the conducting body shall be considered ineligible for GUJCET 2026 Registration. • Educational Qualification: Students must have completed their 12th Intermediate or equivalent exam from a recognized board to apply for the test.
• Minimum Marks: Applicants in the general category must score at least 45% (40% for candidates in the reserved category) to be eligible.
• Subjects Required: Candidates must pass class 12th intermediate or equivalent exam with PCM/PCB for pharmacy courses and PCM for engineering courses.
• Appearing: Candidates who will be sitting in their final year will also be able to apply for the GUJCET 2026 test.
  

GUJCET 2026 Hall Ticket will be out in March 2026. To download the admit card for GUJCET 2026, candidates will have to provide their registered mobile number or email ID, and date of birth, GUJCET application number, and similar details. GUJCET 2026 Syllabus is released by GSEB along with the official notification at gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates aspiring to sit for the upcoming GUJCET 2026 Exam must be familiar with the complete syllabus to score good marks. The GUJCET Syllabus 2026 entails all the chapters and topics from Classes 11 & 12, so students are somewhat familiar with the fundamental concepts. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology are the core subjects included in the syllabus. Based on the syllabus, candidates can devise a smart preparation strategy for the GUJCET exam. 

GUJCET Merit List 2026 will be released by ACPC based on the marks obtained by candidates in the exam. Candidates will be able to check their GUJCET rank mentioned in the merit list once it is published on the official website - gujacpc.nic.in. Students must note that the final merit list of GUJCET 2026 qualifiers will be released after taking into account the challenges raised by candidates against the provisional merit list.

• The first merit list will include the names and ranks of candidates appearing in the GUJCET exam. The list will be prepared giving 60% weightage to marks obtained in PCM and 40% weightage to the percentile marks obtained in the GUJCET entrance exam.

• The second GUJCET merit list will be prepared for candidates taking the JEE Main exam. The merit will be prepared giving 60% weightage to marks obtained in PCM and 40% weightage to the percentile marks obtained in JEE Main.

GUJCET 2026 Answer Key will be released in April 2026. GSEB will publish the answer key for GUJCET 2026 in two phases. First, the preliminary answer key was released along with the GUJCET 2026 Response Sheet. Candidates will be able to check their responses and verify the same with the official answer keys provided by the authorities. They can accordingly calculate their marks and credit their GUJCET 2026 scores. If students come across any error or discrepancy in the answer keys, they may raise objections against the same by submitting a certain amount as a fee. The exam authorities will review and resolve the objections and publish the final GUJCET Answer Key 2026 ahead of the results. 

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the organising body responsible for conducting GUJCET Counselling. ACPC Gujarat will commence the counselling registration in March 2026. The GUJCET 2026 Counselling will include steps such as online registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, acceptance fee payment, and finally, reporting to the allotted colleges. Aspirants willing to take part in the GUJCET 2026 Counselling will have to complete the registration process and get the documents verified first. The allocation of seats will be done based on the candidate's preferences, rank, and the availability of seats. Those who will be assigned seats during the GUJCET 2026 Seat Allotment will have to pay the required fees to confirm their admission.

GUJCET 2026 Result will be released in online mode in May 2026. Candidates taking the GUJCET 2026 Exam can check their scores and qualifying status by downloading the GUJCET Result 2026. To view the result, students will have to enter their 6-digit seat number. Candidates are advised to download and save a copy of the result PDF for future reference. 

GUJCET Participating Institutes 2026 are the colleges/institutes offering admission to qualified candidates based on their ranks through the counselling process of GUJCET. Candidates taking part in GUJCET Counselling 2026 will be allotted seats in any of the participating institutes based on their merit and preferences. The GUJCET 2026 Participating Colleges include a list of some of the finest and reputed institutes where one can get admission based on their scores. ACPC will release the official list of colleges participating in the upcoming counselling session of GUJCET 2026. However, it must be noted that as per the previous year's data, there are approximately 112 institutes that offer an estimated 68,343 UG Engineering seats to qualifying candidates.
