About GUJCET 2022 (Counselling Registration Begins)

The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has COMMENCED the GUJCET 2022 counselling process in online mode on May 31, 2022. Candidates could register for the counselling process of GUJCET 2022 till June 30, 2022. The GUJCET Round 1 counselling list will be released on July 6, 2022. GSEB has declared the GUJCET 2022 result on its official website. Earlier, the authorities RELEASED the provisional GUJCET 2022 answer key on April 28, 2022. The examination was conducted on April 18, 2022 in two shifts 10 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM. The exam was held in all districts of Gujarat in offline mode as Pen and Paper test. The questions were of MCQ format which covered Gujarat Class 11 and 12 syllabi. GUJCET answer key 2022 is an important document that should be downloaded by all candidates to cross-check their answers and estimate their probable marks.

About GUJCET

GUJCET is a state-level entrance examination which is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB). What is new in GUJCET 2022?

As per the official statement of GSEB, two new major changes have been brought to GUJCET 2022, they are

  • Marks in subjects other than Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be considered when preparing the GUJCET 2022 Merit list
  • Out of the total number of seats in govenment colleges, 5% seat will be filled through JEE Main 2022 and remaining 95% through GUJCET 2022

GUJCET 2022 Exam Pattern

The GUJCET 2022 exam conducted by GSEB will consist of mainly three chapters. The official syllabus, time alloted, marking scheme is availabe on the official website.

  • Paper consists of three chapters Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Each section will have 40 questions, hence total of 120 questions
  • Candidates will have 3 hours to finish the paper
  • Each correct answer will carry 01 mark and a incorrect answer deducts 0.25 mark

Dear Student,

No, you are not eligible for the GUJCET home state quota. For the home state quota, the candidate must have completed his/ her Class 10th & 12th from Gujarat Board. Candidates who have passed Class 10th & 12th from the CBSE board are eligible for the entrance exam. However, he/ she must have studied in a school located in Gujarat state as the domicile rule.
