The HPCET 2024 marking strategy includes negative marking for every incorrect answer chosen by the applicant. All responses chosen by the applicant will be considered incorrect, and scores will be deducted consequently. However, unanswered questions will not be marked negatively or at all.

Candidates can check the HPCET exam pattern 2024 from the prospectus released by the authorities on the official website, himtu.ac.in.
According to the HPCET 2024 exam pattern, the entrance exam will be conducted via offline mode for three hours and fifteen minutes. Candidates will have to attempt a total of 150 questions (MCQs), 50 from each subject.
