After the announcement of the IBPS Mains result 2023, the organization will begin with the final proceedings of the recruitment process. In the last and final stage of the selection process, candidates will have to appear for the interview round where they have to present all their documents and submit the originals as well as Xerox. After the verification, original documents will be returned to candidates.
IBPS releases two separate scorecards for IBPS Clerk 2023 Prelims and Mains exams. The scorecard released after Mains is the final scorecard used for the final selection of candidates. Read the following information to understand the IBPS Clerk 2023 Result and the process to download the result.

Candidates can check their IBPS Clerk 2023 result by following the steps mentioned:
In the case of the Preliminary result, only the qualifying status of the candidate is displayed first. IBPS Preliminary Score Card is issued after a few days. However, the Mains Exam Scorecard will be released along with the qualifying status.
It is important for candidates to know that the marks they secure in the Prelims are subject to the parameters set by the exam conducting authority. The marks of the Prelims are out of 100 calculating the marks obtained by candidates in English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted for IBPS Clerk Mains 2023 exam are 200. However, the marks obtained by candidates are calculated out of 100 for Provisional Allotment. Marks obtained by candidates in IBPS Clerk 2023 Mains exam along with the list of candidates qualified for provisional allotment will be declared together in the month of April 2023. The corrected scores secured by each of the candidates in different sessions will be normalized using the equipercentile method. For the purpose of calculation, two decimal point scores will be taken.
The scores of candidates are calculated based on the normalisation process. Normalisation of marks is done using the equi-percentile method. As the exam is conducted in multiple sessions, the question papers are different for different sessions. Normalisation process is followed to equate the difficulty level of question sets. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions are normalised. Scores upto two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. After normalization, final scores are rounded off up to two decimal digits.
In the case where two or more candidates obtain the same score, the merit order is decided as per the date of birth (candidates senior in age are given preference against the candidate junior in age).
Once IBPS Clerk 2023 Result is declared, candidates who have given the online test can check their results through the official website of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). A Cut-off list is released besides the declaration of the result which will help candidates in identifying their position in the list and check whether they cleared the cut-off marks or not. The candidates clearing the Mains will become eligible to sit for the IBPS Clerk 2023 Selection Process designed for different posts at the clerical cadre. Each candidate will need to secure a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for the interview process. Based on the number of the State/ Union territory-wise vacancies available, cut-offs are decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment. With this, the selected candidates will get their desired posts offered by different banks and financial institutions around the nation.
