IPU CET 2022 Seat Allotment

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the IPU CET cut-off list of seat allotment. The IPU CET seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit and preference of colleges and programmes of the candidates. Also, it will depend upon the availability of seats. Candidates who will participate in the IPU CET 2022 seat allotment process may note that the seat allotment will be conducted in three rounds, followed by a sliding and spot round and will be conducted in online mode for the qualified candidates.

For IPU CET 2022 seat allotment, candidates will have to freeze the option and print the provisional allotment letter. After allotment of seats of IPU CET 2022 has been done, then, candidates are required to report to their allotted college and confirm their seat by submitting the academic fee within the given time frame failing which their seat will be made vacant and allotted to the next candidate. Any candidate failing to report for admission in the respective college/institute will not be able to claim their allotted seat afterwards and the academic fees paid by them shall also be forfeited.

How to Check IPU CET 2022 Seat Allotment?

By following the steps given below, candidates can check how they can view their status of seat allotment of IPU CET 2022:

• With the help of the login credentials, candidates will have to log into their account.

• Once after logging in, candidates will be able to check their allotment status.

• As a part of the process, all the allotted candidates will have to take a print out the allotment letter. In order to confirm their admission, candidates will have to pay the requisite fee. The fee payment of the part academic fee, i.e INR 40,000 can be done in online mode via Net banking/Credit card/Debit card).

What is IPU CET 2022 Seat Allotment Process?

Candidates can go through the following steps to participate in the seat allotment process of IPU CET 2022:

Making Payment of Part Academic Fee:

As a part of the process, all the qualified candidates will have pay the part academic fees either in Online Mode (Through net banking/credit card/debit card) or in Offline Mode (Through bank challan in cash at any Indian Bank branch). Then, the admission fee receipt has to be printed out for all future references after making the payment of the part academic fee.

Freezing of Seats and Withdrawal & Fee Refund:

Candidates have an option to freeze their seats if they are allotted seats in their preferred college. Also, if the candidates decide to withdraw their admission from the allotted seat after making the payment of part academic fee, they can login into their account. It must be noted by such candidates that they will be able to participate in the spot round of IPU CET 2019 seat allotment, however, they will not be a part of the subsequent counseling rounds.

Reporting at Allotted Institutes/Colleges:

In this step, candidates have to report at their respective allotted IPU CET college in order to confirm their admission and will have to pay the remaining tuition fees and also verify their documents to complete the admission process. Candidates failing to complete this process within the designated time will not be eligible for admission into the college.

Who All are Ineligible for IPU CET 2022 Seat Allotment?

Following candidates will be ineligible to participate in the seat allotment of IPU CET 2022:

• Candidates who have been allotted seats but have failed to pay the part academic fees

• Candidates who have not paid counseling fees

• Candidates who have paid the counseling fees and also registered themselves, but failed to complete the choice filling process

• Candidates who have failed to register for the entrance examination 

• Cancelled admission, after seat allotment and payment of part academic fees. All these candidates are eligible for Spot Counseling (final round)/ Seat Allotment Round.

Post Seat Allotment Procedure of IPU CET 2022

Candidates who are going to participate in the IPU CET 2022 seat process might be curious to know what is the next step that has to be followed after the seat allotment procedure has been conducted. Well, as a part of the process, all the candidates who have been allotted seats will be required to freeze their respective seats if they are satisfied, which means that they do not wish to participate in the further rounds of counselling and seat allotment. However, candidates who wish to participate in the next rounds need not freeze their seats.

Then, candidates will have to pay the part academic fee, if any candidate wishes to withdraw from their allotted seat, then he/she will have to do so by logging into their account. Lastly, all the allotted candidates will have to report to their respective colleges, verify their documents and pay the remaining fee to complete the admission process.
