Students of Andhra Pradesh Bag Top Ranks in IIT JEE Mains

The students of Andhra Pradesh secured top-level ranks in the IIT JEE mains examination. Out of Top-20 ranks, 7 ranks have been bagged by the students of Andhra Pradesh. The JEE Mains examination was held in the month of April and a total number of 1, 32,000 students appeared for the examination. The ranks of JEE Mains were announced last night. 60% of marks have been added from mains exam whereas 40% of marks have been added from Intermediate.

Top Rank Holders of Andhra Pradesh:-

• M. Prasanth Reddy secured national level 5^th Rank in Mains.
• T. Sai Teja secured national level 6^th Rank in Mains and 5^th Rank in Advanced examination.
• R. Gayathri secured national level 11^th Rank in Mains
• R Jayanth Reddy secured national level 18^th Rank in Mains and 77^th Rank in Advanced examination.

Boys top the JEE results national wide. Out of 1000 ranks, 853 are boys and only 147 girls’ secured ranks below 1000. The top rankers of Andhra Pradesh expressed that they would like to join in IIT’s.

T. Sai Teja said that he wants to join in IIT Mumbai and pursue Computer Science. R. Jayantha Reddy expressed that he is willing to join in Delhi and pursue Computer Science.
