Karnataka PGCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria define the different parameters that candidates need to fulfil in order to successfully appear for the examination. Applicant should belong to Karnataka state and should have a domicile certificate of Karnataka.

Courses

Educational Criteria

For MCA

  • Applicants should have cleared Graduation or an equivalent exam.

  • Applicants should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics and Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects.

  • Applicants should have scored at least 50% marks (45% marks in QE in case of SC/ST and Category I of Karnataka candidates).

For ME/M.Tech/M.Arch (Full-Time/Part-Time)

  • Applicants should have passed the qualifying or equivalent exam from a recognized university.

  • Applicants should have a valid GATE Scorecard.

  • Applicants should have secured at least 50% marks (45% marks in QE in case of SC/ST & Category I of Karnataka candidates.

For MCA (Lateral Entry)

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor degree in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) from a recognized university.

  • Applicants should have qualified the exam with Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduate level.

  • Applicants should have scored at least 50% marks (45% marks in QE in case of SC/ST and Category I of Karnataka candidates).

For MBA (Full Time/Part-Time)

  • Applicants should have 3 years Bachelor Degree or equivalent from a recognized board/university.

  • Applicants should have secured at least 50% marks (45% marks in QE in case of SC/ST and Category I of Karnataka candidates).
