Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts KCET option entry 2026 at kea.kar.nic.in. To complete the KCET option entry, candidates are required to enter their CET number 2026. KCET 2026 choice filling process begins after document verification, allowing candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses online. Candidates needs to log in to the KEA website using their unique ID and password to access the option entry form, and then select and prioritize their choices, and later modify, add to, or delete them before the final date.

Qualified KCET 2026 candidates can participate in this centralised counselling for all courses. During choice filling, students must log in with their registration number to select and prioritise their preferred colleges and courses. Candidates who pass the document verification following the declaration result are eligible to apply for KCET 2026 choice filling. Following the results, the KEA will publish a list of selected candidates for the document verification process. Candidates must appear for verification to proceed with the process. Following that, KEA will publish the mock allotment results of all qualified candidates who will be eligible for online KCET Option Entry 2026.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill the option entry form for KCET 2026 –
Step 1 | On the scheduled date, the candidates will have to log in to the official website of KCET and enter the Secret Key & Password to Login |

Step 2 | Click on the option entry link and you will see the list of courses for which you can fill the choices. |
Step 3 | After selecting the course, you will see the list of colleges, which offer the respective course. |
Step 4 | You will have to give the priority number (1,2,3…) of each course and college that you will select in the option entry form. Please note that the priority numbers should be in sequential order. |
Step 5 | If you want to choose a different course, you can click on College Type again and add the priority numbers. |
Step 6 | You can click on ‘View Selected Options’ to check the list of colleges and B.Tech branches selected by you. |

After the KCET option entry 2026, the Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2026 mock seat allotment result on the first week of August 2026 on the official website. KEA will first release the KCET mock allotment result 2026. Applicants participating in the KCET counselling process will be allowed to make edits in the KCET web options after the declaration of KCET mock seat allotment result 2026.
