KCET Shift 2 Exam 2024 is being conducted from 2:30 to 3:50 PM for Chemistry paper. Candidates were advised to carry their KCET admit card 2024, and one valid photo ID proof to the exam center and follow the KCET 2024 exam day instructions. Candidates who fail to carry these will not be permitted to enter the exam hall. All candidates should strictly stick to the KCET dress code 2024 while entering the exam hall. Karnataka Examination Authority has concluded the KCET 2024 April 19 exam for Physics Paper from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM. KCET April 18 Shift 1 and 2 exam 2024 was conducted for Biology and Maths papers.

KEA has recently updated the Chitradurga exam centers for the KCET 2024 exam in its latest notification. KCET Admit Card 2024

The KCET 2024 admit card has been released on April 3, 2024 in online mode. Candidates can download their KCET 2024 admit card by following the instructions outlined below:

Step 1: Go to the Karnataka Examination Authority's official website (KEA)

Step 2: Select and click on the KCET admit card 2024 tab

Step 3: Enter your KCET 2024 Application Number as well as your DOB

Step 4: The KCET 2024 admit card will appear on the screen

Step 5: After reviewing the information on the admit card, download the KCET hall ticket as a PDF and print it for future reference

KCET Application form 2024

KEA has simplified the CET application process of KCET, PGCET, and D-CET by releasing a single application form. Candidates can check the steps to apply for the KCET 2024 exam as mentioned below. Candidates must take note that the portal to edit the application form will be opened from April 19, 2024 after the KCET 2024 exams are over. 

Steps to Fill the KCET 2024 Application Form

Step 1: Go to the official website and click on "UGCET 2024 - Online Application."

Step 2: Candidates must register themselves on the page with the application form. Candidates must fill out all of the needed information to register. Following registration, they will receive an application number and User ID to their registered cellphone number, which should be stored for future reference.

Step 3: On the screen, a login prompt will appear, and candidates must enter their login credentials and click submit.

Step 4: The application fee must be paid online using Debit/Credit cards, Net/Mobile banking, or UPI/BHIM/QR Code.

Step 5: Candidates must complete the "General Information" form that appears on the screen.

Step 6: To proceed, all entries must be saved.

Step 7: After entering all of the study details correctly, click "Save and Next."

Step 8: Documents in JPEG/JPG format, such as the candidate's photograph and signature

Step 9: Candidates must double-check all of the information they have submitted. The application will be rejected if there are any discrepancies in the information.

Step 10: Finally, candidates must read the declaration and click "Accept and Submit" to complete the KCET 2024 Application form.

KCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply for KCET 2024, candidates must meet certain criterias set by the KEA. This set of parameters to check the eligibility of the applicants is called the KCET 2024 eligibility criteria. The official notification regarding the eligibility will be released soon on the website. The criterias of the previous year KCET have been mentioned for reference. The age limit, educational qualifications, domicile are all components of the criteria and they can be found below

KCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses:

  • Students must have completed the 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognized board or authority.
  • Those who are taking the 12th grade can also apply.
  • Students must have completed the 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology from a recognized board.
  • Minimum marks: To qualify, students must have received 45% in PCM/PCB subjects (40% in restricted categories).

KCET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Other Courses

B.Pharma: Candidates for B.Pharma must have completed class 12th with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology from a recognized board. Relaxation of 5% for the SC/ST category.

B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Candidates must have a 12th grade point average of 50% in PCB and English. Relaxation of 5% for the SC/ST category.

B.Arch: Candidates must have a class 12th grade point average of at least 50%. Mathematics should be made a mandatory subject. Candidates must have a valid JEE Main (Paper 2) or NATA scorecard.

BDS/MBBS: Candidates for BDS/ MBBS/ AYUSH programmes must have a 12th grade point average of 50% in PCB. English must be a required subject in the 12th grade. Furthermore, candidates must have a valid NEET scorecard.

Who is the conducting body for KCET 2024?

I want to study B.Arch from a KCET participating college. Should I appear in KCET exam or other national-level architecture entrance exams like NATA or JEE Main?

KCET is not conducted for B.Arch admission in the state of Karnataka. The B.Arch aspirants have to appear in an exam like NATA or JEE Main Paper II and qualify the same with a valid score/rank to be eligible for B.Arch admission in KCET participating colleges offering B.Arch.

Is the Kannada Language Test compulsory for all the candidates who appear in the KCET exam?

KCET clearly states that the student must have at least 7years of studies in Karnataka. But to get into Karnataka colleges you can attempt JEE Main or COMEDK. COMEDK gets you into the same college as KCET but there are a lesser number of colleges and the fee is higher comparatively. But if you have special categories like Defence you might be exempted.
