KIITEE 2020 Exam Pattern

It is important to know the KIITEE 2020 exam pattern before applying for the examination so that the candidates know how to go about the entire syllabus. Knowing the exam pattern of the KIITEE 2020 will help the candidates to have an idea about the pattern of the paper. This knowledge reduces tension or nervousness in the applicant. The candidates will have a clear idea about the marks division of the paper and also about which section carries how much marks. The applicants will be able to strategise how to go about the KIITEE 2020. 

KIITEE 2020 exam pattern includes details such as the number of questions, types of questions, marking scheme, time duration, etc. KIITEE 2020 will be a computer-based exam comprising of 3 section - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In the KIITEE 2020 question paper, you will see that each section will have 40 MCQs, which means a total of 120 questions are asked in the entrance exam. This exam pattern will be followed in the sample question papers and also in the mock tests. So the applicants are advised to take mock tests in order to crack the final KIITEE 2020.  

Highlights of KIITEE 2020

There are a few important highlights which the candidates must know while preparing for the KIITEE 2020. This will help the candidates to do well in the examination if they know the highlights. 

  • KIITEE 2020 will be a Computer-Based Test.

  • The language of KIITEE 2020 will be English.

  • All the questions in the KIITEE 2020 for every course will be Multiple Choice Questions.

  • The test duration to complete the exam will be 3 hours (180 minutes).

  • There will be a total of 20 questions in the KIITEE 2020 for each course.

  • There will be a total of 480 marks for each course in KIITEE 2020. 

  • Each correct answer is awarded 4 marks.

  • For every wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1 mark.

Test Taking Process

  • To start the exam, the candidate must log in to the allotted computer using his/her password provided on the KIITEE 2020 admit card.

  • As per the exam pattern of KIITEE, candidates have the liberty to attempt all the sections simultaneously, which means that it is not necessary for a candidate to complete one section in order to move to another.

  • If a candidate is able to finish the exam before the allotted time, he/she has to pick any one option out of the two - either to return to the test or to submit it.

  • Once the examination is submitted, candidates cannot make any changes to the answers.
