About MAH B.Ed CET 2024 (Counselling Begins)

MAH B.Ed CET counselling process 2024 started today, July 13, 2024. MS/ OMS aspirants can complete the candidate registration between July 13 to July 20, 2024. MAH Bed 2024 merit list (alphabetical) will be launched on July 26, 2024.

The grievance window will be open between July 26 to July 29, 2024, while the final merit list for phase 1 counselling will be launched on August 2, 2024. CAP round 1 schedule has been released by the CET Cell, Maharashtra at bedcap24.mahacet.org. 

Before that, the MAH B.Ed result 2024 was issued on May 11, 2024. The entrance exam was held from March 4 to March 6, 2024. The MAH B.Ed CET / B.Ed ELCT exam is conducted every year by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of the Government of Maharashtra for admission into the B.Ed course offered by various Government, Government-Aided, University-Managed and Private colleges in the state of Maharashtra. MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Conducting Body

The Maharashtra State CET Cell is organizing the MAH B.Ed CET 2024. According to Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, the Maharashtra Government established the State Common Entrance Test Cell. It was set up to facilitate the easy conduct of the entrance examination for B.Ed aspirants wishing to join full-time B.Ed programs. J. P. Dange (I.A.S -Retd.) is the Chairman of the Admissions Regulating Authority of Maharashtra.

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Mathematics/Humanities Sciences/Commerce.
  • Aspirants must have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the disciplines mentioned above, with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 45% for backward classes such as SC / ST / OBC / SBC.

For Applicants from other States

  • Applicants from other States must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Institute/University.
  • The aspirant must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 55% in all areas in the qualifying degree examination.
  • There is no constraint on the age limit for aspirants applying for the MAH B.Ed CET exam. 

MAH B.Ed CET Application Process

The admission process commences with the release of the application form. The MAH B.Ed CET admission process consists of the following steps  -

  • To apply for the MAH B.Ed CET, candidates must first register. Candidates should visit the exam's official website and log in with the required information, such as the Candidate's Name, Contact Information, and Email ID.
  • Applicants will get a Provisional Registration Number and Password. For the MAH B.Ed CET exam, participants must enter their Provisional registration number and password.
  • After entering all the details, candidates must submit the MAH B.Ed CET application form with their scanned photograph and signature. This will then take them to the payment gateway. Candidates can now pay through Debit Cards, IMPS, Internet Banking, Credit Cards, Mobile Wallets, etc.
  • The applicants will receive an e-receipt on successful payment. Candidates need to take a printout of the form and the e-receipt for future use.

The online registration process was supposed to begin in June but was delayed due to the second surge of the COVID-19 pandemic.     Dear student, the minimum mark required to clear the Maharashtra B.Ed CET exam is different for the General category candidates and SC/ST category candidates. For general category candidates, the minimum mark to qualify the Maharashtra B.Ed CET exam is 30 whereas SC/ST candidates must obtain non-zero marks to qualify the exam.
