NID DAT 2020 will be held at all India level for the candidates seeking admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Master of Design (M.Des) programmes and Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) offered by various participating institutes of NID DAT in India. Candidates will have to take NID DAT (Prelims) and NID DAT (Mains) so that they can take admission into the NID DAT 2020 participating colleges/institutes. Additionally, in order to become eligible for admission in any of the participating campuses or colleges of NID DAT 2020, candidates will be required to score well in the entrance exam.

National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad (Main Campus):
It is a design school in Ahmedabad, India which functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar Campus:
Situated in the city of Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the National Institute of Design provides postgraduate courses in various fields. The campus offers courses in Lifestyle Accessory Design, Apparel Design & Merchandising, New media design, Toy and Game Design, Strategic Design Management, Transportation Design disciplines. The infrastructure is mostly basic and good and the campuses offer various facilities to its students such as design studio, Library, labs, cafeteria, auditorium etc.
NID Bengaluru Campus, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, focuses on research and development activities related to design. The R&D Campus, Bengaluru was established in March 2006 and the campus offers research-intensive PG programmes namely Design for Retail Experience and Design for Digital Experience. The institute also offers five masters programmes in design. The campus also has facilities such as Library, Cafeteria, Labs & Studios and Wi-Fi Campus.
