Candidates must note that the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the admit card of NIFT 2020.
NIFT entrance exam will be conducted on January 19, 2020, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level for providing admissions across 16 campuses of the institute. It is organized in offline mode (Pen and Paper based). NIFT offers various design courses such as Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Master of Design (M.Des), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech) and Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M).

As mentioned earlier, the NIFT entrance exam score is used for admission into both UG and PG programmes offered at the NIFT Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Kangra, Jodhpur, Raebareli, Kannur, Chennai, Shillong, Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Srinagar, Patna, New Delhi and Bengaluru campuses. The online application process usually begins during the month of October and is carried on until the December month.
The NIFT entrance exam is segregated into various stages such as the Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test (ST), etc. before the final selection process for the NIFT campuses commences.
Every year around 23,000 aspirants appear for the NIFT entrance exam for admission into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in Fashion and Technology.
The NIFT final result will be declared in the month of February/March which is prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written exam, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview combined.
