Step 2: Online Form Filling

  • The candidates will be asked to enter additional information such as mobile number, address, bank details, e-mail address etc which will also display all the information provided by them during Step 1 of the OJEE 2022 counselling process

  • The candidates will receive an OTP on the mobile number or email address they have provided during this step for verification purpose. Thus, the candidates are requested to provide their valid email ID or mobile number to avoid any sort of hindrance in the flow of communication from the Authorities

  • In the next step, the candidates will be asked to create a password and they need to reconfirm the same by typing the same password in the “Confirm Password” box. The password should be 8 to 13 characters long and must include a minimum of one capital letter (A-Z), one small letter (a-z), one numeric character (0-9) and one special character (@,&,*,# etc)

  • The candidates must keep the password confidential which will help them in the subsequent stages

Step 3: Details Verification

  • In this step, the candidates will be provided with an option of verifying the details entered by them during the registration step

  • If a candidate feels that he/she has entered some wrong information, they can simply click on the “Edit” button to edit the requisite information

  • The candidates must also ensure that they have filled the category and sub-category fields correctly to avoid any hassle during the seat allotment process

  • After confirming that all the entered details are correct, the candidates have to click on the “Confirm Registration” button

  • The candidates must keep a copy of the filled registration form which they need to produce during the documents verification process

Step 4: Counselling Process Fee Payment

The candidates, in this step, have to log in to their account and deposit INR 450/- which is the counselling registration fee, via any of the available online payment methods

Step 5: Choice Filling

  • After depositing the registration fee, the candidates have to proceed to the Choice Filling step. The Choice Filling button will be visible on the menu bar of the screen

  • The choice filling button will redirect the candidates to the instruction page and before proceeding any further, the candidates have to go through the instructions carefully

  • The choice filling page will consist of two blocks which will display the names of the branches & colleges and choices filled by the candidates. The candidates are suggested to provide the maximum number of choices by clicking on the “Add” button

  • The candidates can also alter the order of the choices filled accordingly with the help of the “Move” and “Swap” buttons

  • One branch and one college will be treated as one choice

  • Candidates eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme will be able to choose from both the TFW and non-TFW seat offering colleges and branches

  • By providing a maximum number of choices, the candidates will have a higher chance of getting a seat during the seat allotment process. The candidates must repeatedly click on the “Save & Continue” button for the purpose of saving their choices

  • The candidates will be able to know the status of their seat allotment in the Mock Results. The candidates, based on the Mock Result, may opt for altering their choice and preference

  • After the Mock Result, the choice locking process will be initiated

  • During the choice locking process, the candidates have to verify if the choices entered by them are as per their requirement or not. Once satisfied, the candidates have to click on the “Lock” button after which an OTP will be sent to them on their RMN (Registered Mobile Number) and the candidates have to enter the number received via text on the desired text box and click on “Submit” and take a printout of the same

  • The candidates cannot unlock the option after locking their desired option

  • In case a candidate does not/ is not able to lock his/her choices, the system will automatically lock the options

  • Finally, the candidates have to click on the “Print Locked Choice” button

Step 6: Temporary Allotment-I

  • The seats will be alloted to the candidates on the basis of their rank, reservation and choice & category entered by the candidates during the registration step

  • The process of the temporary allotment-I will commence as per the date & schedule mentioned in the OJEE official website

  • The candidates will be informed regarding the same via a text message on their RMN

  • The candidates can view the result of the Temporary Seat Allotment-I by logging into the official OJEE website

  • The candidates should not report at the Institute allocated to them based on the results of the Temporary Allotment-I

  • Based on the options exercised by the candidates, their position will either remain the same or maybe promoted to upper choice in the subsequent allotment rounds

  • Those candidates who could not secure a seat in this round have to wait for the next allotment rounds

  • In case a candidate wants to pull out of the OJEE 2020 counselling process, he/she must visit the nodal centre (where their documents were verified) within the given date to withdraw from the counselling procedure. The candidate will be refunded the amount deposited by him/her as a part of the admission fee

  • All those candidates who have withdrawn from the OJEE 2020 counselling process and have not frozen their allotment will not be considered for the next round/s of the seat allotment process

Step 7: Payment of Admission Fee

  • The amount which must be deposited by the candidates will vary according to their category (General Category-INR 10,000/- and SC/ST/PwD-INR 5000/-)

  • The candidates can deposit the admission fee online or by a challan via any Axis Bank or SBI branch

  • Candidates who fail to deposit the admission fee will be removed from the race of seat allotment process and the seats allocated to such candidates will be cancelled

  • The candidates have to produce the receipt of the deposited fee for proof during the verification of documents

  • In case a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allocated to him/her or not able to report to the allocated Institution/College for admission within the given deadline, the candidate cannot withdraw from the admission process or claim any refund

  • The candidates will only be allowed to withdraw from the admission process if they report at their respective nodal centres within the stipulated time period and apply for the withdrawal process. Such candidates will be refunded their entire admission fee for which they have to provide their banking details

  • The admission fee will not be refunded to those candidates who have been allocated a seat during the seat allotment process, have got their documents verified and paid the admission fee without opting for the withdrawal process. In such a scenario, if the candidates fail to report to the Institute allocated to them, OJEE authorities are not liable to refund their admission fee which will be transferred to the concerned University

Step 8: Verification of Documents at Nodal Centres

  • For the verification of the documents, the candidates have to report at the Nodal Centres allocated to them along with all the requisite documents (original & self-attested)

  • The candidates must also carry their Registration slip and the proof of admission fee payment with them to the Nodal Centres

  • In case a candidate fails to clear the document verification round, the admission fee paid by the candidates will be refunded back. The seats allocated to such candidates will be declared as vacant seats for the next round

  • The candidates have to report at the Nodal Centre’s computer counter to get proof of the documents being verified successfully

  • The candidates can either freeze the seat allocated to them or opt for the upgradation process

  • If a candidate fails to report at the nodal centre for documents verification within the given date, the allocated seat will be cancelled (vacant for next round) and the admission fee will be refunded to the candidate (if applied for the same)

  • In case a candidate wants to pull out of the OJEE 2020 counselling process, he/she must visit the nodal centre (where their documents were verified) within the given date to withdraw from the counselling procedure. The candidate will be refunded the amount deposited by him/her as a part of the admission fee

  • In Process Candidates (candidates who withdrew from the counselling process after the temporary allotment stage) will be eligible to acquire a seat in the final round via the upgradation process

  • Newly allocated candidates have to follow Steps 7 & 8 to remain eligible for the final seat allotment round otherwise their seats will be treated as vacant for the final allotment round

  • The candidates should not report at the Institute allocated to them based on the results of the Temporary Allotment-II
