PESSAT 2019 counselling is one of the most important admission procedures that involves the selection of the candidates on merit basis. PESSAT counselling is organised at PES University. PESSAT counselling usually takes place in the month of June/July every year. The counselling for PESSAT is done for the candidates who have successfully cleared the examination.
The selection and seat allotment procedure of PESSAT 2019 counselling will take place in two rounds for the B.Tech aspirants. The first round will be conducted in June 2019, whereas the second round is likely to be held in the month of July. The PESSAT 2019 qualified candidates are advised to be ready with all the necessary documents asked at the time of the counselling session.
Candidates should first register on the official website. After registration, candidates have to log in using their registration number and date of birth.
It is mandatory for the candidates to be present at the counselling venue for admission.
In case candidates are unable to attend the counselling session, they will have to fill and submit an authorisation letter to the University, which should include photograph and signature of examinees and the authorised person.
Candidates must bring their PESSAT scorecard and all the compulsory documents related to educational qualification at the time of counselling.
They must also pay the counselling/admission fee through DD. Candidates have to get 2 separate DDs: first of INR 3,00,000 for admission fee and second DD of INR 10,000 for counselling fee.
The DD should be made in the name of 'PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND' payable at Bangalore. The DDs are taken from the candidates only if they avail the seat.

Without the originals, the seat allocation will not be done.
1. Can I surrender the seat allotted through PESSAT, if I am allotted seat through KCET?
Yes, you may surrender a seat allotted to you through PESSAT and opt for the seat allotted through CET. The extra money will be refunded or adjusted against the fee payable.
2. For B.Tech PESSAT counselling, is my PESSAT rank considered only or my 12th std/ 2nd PU marks are also considered?
For B.Tech counselling, only PESSAT rank, which is generated based on PESSAT score of the candidate, is considered. 12th std/ 2nd PU marks are considered for eligibility purpose.
3. If I fail to attend the B.Tech counselling on the specified day as per my rank, can I attend the counselling on the next day?
You can attend the counselling on the next day, which is earmarked for candidates who secure lower ranks.
4. Can I surrender the management seat, if I get PESSAT or KCET seat?
Yes, you may surrender the management seat if you are allotted a seat through PESSAT or KCET. The extra money shall be refunded or adjusted against the fee payable.
