It must be noted that all the candidates will have to provide their login details such as application number and password to check their result. Notification regarding result declaration will be updated on the official website. Candidates are thus advised to keep visiting the websites to know all the important updates and notifications. The merit list will also be uploaded to the website with the result of PUTHAT. The final result of the PUTHAT entrance examination will be prepared on the basis of marking scheme decided by the Panjab University. According to the marking scheme of PUTHAT entrance examination one mark will be awarded to the candidate for each correct answer while 0.25 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
If any candidate wants to verify his/ her result then he will have to provide a photocopy of the answer sheet along with a payment of INR 10000 within 10 days of PUTHAT result declaration. It must be noted that the whole procedure should be completed within 3-4 days. If any discrepancy is found in the candidate’s result, the result will be updated and fee submitted by the candidate will also be refunded.
The result of the examination will decide the final admission of the candidate. Once the result is declared candidates will have to clear additional rounds of admission. Additional rounds will include a counselling process and document verification round. The final seat will be allotted only after the candidate clears all the rounds successfully. Candidates may check the counselling process for PUTHAT to get further information.
