The Admit Card for the SAT is known as an Admission Ticket. The SAT Admission Tickets will be available for all the students who have successfully completed the SAT registration process. The printed SAT admission ticket ensures that a student is registered to take either the SAT or SAT Subject Tests on a specified date at a specified SAT test centre.
Electronic copies of the SAT admission ticket are not acceptable and it is mandatory that the student produces the printed ticket on the day of the test. In case there is a mistake in the Admission Ticket or schedules change, the College Board gives the provision to all the students to often change information and test dates after registration. There are several reasons why a student MUST carry their Admission Tests on the day of the test. These are:
Without it, the test centre authorities would not allow the student to take the test.
It is one of the documents that validate the identity of the student.
It confirms that the SAT registration process is successful.
The student can check the specified date and the specified test centre.
Candidates with a valid SAT Admit Card 2020 can appear in SAT entrance exam and take admission in various abroad universities like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore etc. Some of the popular college for admission are University of Florida, Yale University, Princeton University, Aston University, Bournemouth University, Alberta College of Art and Design, McGill University, University of Sydney, University of Queensland.
There are two different procedures to avail the SAT Admission Ticket/Admit Card for candidates who have done online registration and the ones who have registered by mail.
Students who register online:
Print the SAT admission ticket right after completing the online registration process.
Get email confirmation of the SAT registration.
The admission ticket/admit card will not be sent by mail.
Students who register by mail:
Students who provide their email address will be sent a link to their online Admission Ticket by email and the same must be brought on test day.
Students who do not provide their email address, the SAT admission ticket will be mailed to them.
The College Board allows students to make changes in the SAT admission ticket which includes changes in the following:
Name, Date of Birth, and Gender
Test Date, Test Center, and Test Type
Switching Between the SAT and the SAT with Essay
Address, High School Information, Score Reports
After you have made changes in the admission ticket or admit card, you can update and reprint it.
Sign in to your College Board account.
Click on Print/Update Ticket.
Pay a certain fee for the same (if required) using a credit card or PayPal.
Print your updated SAT admission ticket/admit card.
