Three sections make up the Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability parts of the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET). The following themes served as the basis for the questions in all three sections:
Name of the Section | Topics and Number of Questions | Total Marks | Good Attempts for Slot 1- Forenoon Session | Good Attempts for Slot 2- Afternoon Session |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Analytical Ability | Data Sufficiency: 20 Questions Problem Solving: 55 Questions | 75 | 50 - 60 | 45 - 60 |
Mathematical Ability | Arithmetical Ability: 35 Questions Statistical Ability: 10 Questions Algebraical & Geometrical Ability: 30 Questions | 75 | 55 - 65 | 50 - 60 |
Communication Ability | Vocabulary: 10 Questions Functional Grammar: 15 Questions Reading Comprehension: 15 Questions Business & Computer Terminology: 10 Questions | 50 | 40+ | 40+ |
| Total | - | 200 | 145 - 175 | 135 - 160 |
Despite the fact that there are an equal number of questions on the analytical and mathematical abilities, the Mathematical Ability test is more difficult for candidates. Whereas the analytical ability questions were simple yet time-consuming. To complete the remaining questions in time, test-takers had to skip several questions. Participants in the test thought the Communication Ability component was the easiest of all because there were less questions than in the other sections. Apart from this, the questions were from basic language. The majority of test-takers found the exam to be challenging overall. Despite having a similar undertone to earlier sessions, test-takers assessed the exam to be simple to moderately difficult.
