Want to know more about UCEED
The general category is expected to reach a UCEED 2025 cutoff mark of around 70-75 marks based on the pattern followed by earlier trends and how difficult the questions were. Nonetheless, the cut-off marks would vary as factors such as number of applicants and the difficulty of the question are taken into account.
No, you cannot attend UCEED 2025 counselling if you do not clear the UCEED 2025 cutoff. Candidates have the right to sit in the counselling process for admission into undergraduate programs in design offered by the participating institutes only if they qualify by the minimum qualifying cutoff score in the UCEED exam.
No, it is not possible to examine or check the UCEED cutoff 2025 offline. Together with the results, it will be made available online at the official UCEED website (uceed.iitb.ac.in).
The UCEED cutoff 2025 is important for a number of reasons:
- Eligibility: It establishes which candidates will be eligible for entry into undergraduate courses in design available at participating institutes.
- Seat Distribution: It will rank candidates using cutoff scores to allocate seats based on performance and preferences.
- Performance Benchmark: It gives a benchmark to the candidates to assess their performance against other applicants.
- Admission Process: Cutoff score will be an important factor in the overall admission process, determining which students are to be selected.
No, you cannot apply for admission to a college whose UCEED cutoff criteria you fail to meet. The college will not consider your application and will not send you the call letter for the counselling process.
No, the UCEED cutoff is not the same for every category. Students belonging to different categories will have different cutoffs displayed on the official website of the UCEED participating institutions. Simply put, IIT Bombay publishes category-wise UCEED cutoffs separately.
Students can view the UCEED cutoff by visiting the official website of the conducting body. Participating institutions will also declare category-wise UCEED cutoff on their official website. Thus, students can also check for the same.
The cutoff marks for the UCEED 2025 of Part-A shall be declared on February 6, 2025. The cutoff is going to act as a merit criterion that helps the candidates decide whether they would be eligible enough to proceed in the further process of admission or not. On March 7, 2025, UCEED 2025 results will be declared.
The UCEED cutoff is calculated based on the performance of all candidates in Part A of the exam. The computation is based on the mean (average) score and standard deviation of marks scored by all candidates appearing for the exam. Moreover, the cutoff score varies according to the categories-General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD-to maintain fairness in consideration of students. Also, every candidate from the respective category above the cutoff is offered admission to participating colleges.
