The Results for UPSC Engineering Services (Prelims) Examination 2024 were officially published in PDF format on March 28, 2024, on the official website @upsc.gov.in. The preliminary examination for UPSC ESE was held on February 18, 2024. Candidates who took the exam can conveniently find the PDF on the website. Those who qualify will advance to the UPSC ESE mains exam, scheduled for June 23, 2024. The UPSC ESE prelims result will be declared in a PDF format. The names of the successful candidates will be listed under the different branch names viz. Civil Eng, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, EC & T Eng, with correspondence to the Candidate's Engineering domain. Candidates who have cleared the UPSC ESE Prelims 2024 exam were allowed to fill out the Detailed Application Form (DAF). The candidates had to fill out the form before the due date and submit the exam fee of INR 200. The details filled in the DAF will serve as a conspectus of your identity and alma mater.

The shortlisted candidates in the UPSC ESE Prelims exam will be allowed to sit for the Mains exam. After clearing the UPSC ESE Mains, students can be called for the final round of testing i.e. UPSC ESE 2024 Interview/Personality Test. Only those candidates, who qualify for the Interview will be entitled to join the Engineering Services under the Government of India. How to Check UPSC ESE Result 2024?

With the help of the steps mentioned below, the candidates can access their respective scorecards of the UPSC ESE 2024 exam - 

• Results are declared online on the official website of UPSC.

• Go to the ‘UPSC ESE (Mains) Result 2024’ link on the website.

• A dialog box will appear with the PDF file of the result. 

• Download the PDF file.

• Check for your name and roll number in the PDF file.

• Selected candidates receive an email from UPSC stating their selection for the next round of examination along with the link of the e-admit card for the Stage-II Mains Exam.

• The same procedure will be followed to check the result of the Stage-II Mains Exam.

• Candidates selected in the second stage will be eligible for the Personality Test round, which is the final round for IES/ESE 2024. 

UPSC ESE 2024 Cut off (Expected)

UPSC ESE 2024 cut off is the minimum marks that the candidate should have scored to qualify the ESE exam to get selected for the Interview/Personality Test. However, UPSC releases the ESE cutoff for each stage as well as overall cutoff, after the declaration of UPSC ESE Final result.
