LUCSAT BCA 2017 - Application Steps

Create Login ID
  • Applicant can fill the application form at the university website.
  • Applicants will receive their login details in the mobile number and email ID provided at the time of registration.

Fill up the Application form
  • Applicants have to enter their personal details like:
    • Nationality
    • State of Eligibility
    • Candidate's Name
    • Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
    • Gender
    • Mother's Name
    • Father's Name
    • Category
    • Place of Residence
  • Applicants have to fill their educational qualifications.
  • Enter the marks of all the subjects mentioned in the mark sheets.
  • Those applicant s who have appeared for their class 12 examination in 2016 have to fill name of their board and their roll number now. All such applicants have to login and fill their class 12 marks before appearing for counseling.
Uploading Scan Photograph, Signature
  • Applicants have to upload their photo and scanned signature in required format.

Note:

  • Applicants can preview all the entries made at this point. If there is some error they can edit these or start the entire process again. Once they have submitted theapplication fee the data submitted in the registration page cannot be edited under any circumstances.
Payment of Fees

Amount Of Fees is Rs.600/- for General Category and Rs.300 for SC/ST Category/-.

How to Apply for LUCSAT BCA 2017

REQUIREMENTS FOR FORM SUBMISSION:

  • Valid Email ID
  • Active Mobile Number:
    • Mobile number should be with the applicant at the time of form filling
    • All relevant information regarding admission would be sent to this mobile number.
    • This number would also be used at the time of counselling.
  • Alternate Mobile Number
  • Photo in JPEG format (Maximum upload size is 50 KB only)
  • Scanned Signature in jpeg format (Maximum upload size is 50 KB only)
  • High School Mark sheet
  • Photo ID proof (for entering number):
    • Any one of the following for entering the number at the designated place in the online application form.
    • Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport
  • Caste certificate:
    • The number of caste certificate issued by the competent authority will have to be entered for availing the benefit of reservation for OBC, SC and ST applicants.
    • For OBC applicants this certificate should be issued after July 1, 2013. Validity of these certificates will be verified from the Government website.
    • The scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and other backward class candidates originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward class candidates of other states will be treated as general.
  • Income Certificate:
    • Applicants will have to enter the number of these certificates at the time of filling of the form.
    • All certificates will be verified through the Government website.
    • Certificates whose details are not available on this website will not be entertained.
    • The applicants who do not have a valid income certificate issued by competent authority will not be given benefit of zero fees at the time of admission.

NOTE:

  • During the form filling process the applicant can make the entries and save theinformation.
  • If the applicant is unable to fill the form in one sitting or somehow the process isinterrupted there is no need to register again. They can login using the credentials sent on their mobile numbers and continue the process.
  • Applicants are advised to check all the data they have entered before submitting the application fee. If there is some error they can edit these or start the entire process again. Once they have submitted the application fee the data submitted in the registration page cannot be edited under any circumstances.

Eligibility for LUCSAT BCA 2017

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent examination with Computers or Mathematics as a subject. For General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure atleast 50%* of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 45%*. Age- N/A Marks- Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate. Relaxation policy (if any)- Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 45% aggregate for SC/ST.

LUCSAT BCA 2017 Important Instructions

General Guidelines:

  • Candidates have to be on their seats by 8:30 AM.
  • Candidates should download their admit cards from the University admission website.
  • Candidates will not be given entry in the examination centre without the admit card.
  • Entry will not be given to the candidate on the basis of Print out of application form.} Candidate has to show a photo ID along with the admit card to the invigilators during the examination.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The instructions related to the online admissions are given here, which are authorized under the Act,  Ordinances, Rules & Regulations of the University.
  • Gap Certificate: If there is gap in taking admission after Intermediate, then an affidavit certified by the
  • Notary on Rs. 10.00 Stamp paper has to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • If you want benefit of reservation or zero fees, then give the details of the related certificates during the filling of the Online application form. No candidate will get the permission for any change in weightage or reservation after the form is submitted.
  • The detailed information of the admission procedure will be displayed on the University website. Candidates are advised to check for updates regularly on the University website.
  • After declaration of the merit list a copy of the list will be displayed on the University website. The candidate himself/herself will find his/her merit number from the merit list. The merit list will not be published in the newspaper.
  • The Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates of other states will be treated as general.
  • All fees deposited at the time of registration will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • As directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, action will be taken against the students who indulge in incidence like ragging during studentship.
  • Reservation and income certificates shall be verified on internet.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • The University reserves the right to change or amend the admission rules at any time without prior notification.
  • If any candidate gets admission on the basis of false information/improper means or on the basis of false marksheet his/her admission will be treated cancelled from the beginning and legal action will be taken against him/her under IPC.
  • In the Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Science and Fine Arts Under Graduate students for the Session shall be admitted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted for this purpose.
  • The entrance test will comprise of 100 objective type questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
    • Order of Merit will be determined as follows :-
    • If two or more candidates have secured equivalent marks/rank in the merit Index, then the merit for admission will be determined as follows:
    • If the marks secured in the entrance test are same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who secures higher percentage of marks at High School or equivalent examination.
    • If the marks obtained at the High School or equivalent examination are the same, then in that case the older candidate will be given priority.
  • The candidate shall be entitled to weightages (if any) on the merit.
  • The reservation shall be given as permissible under the Uttar Pradesh Government / University Rules.
  • In case of students seeking admission to the Faculty of Law, he/she shall not be allowed to simultaneously register for a Law degree program with any other graduate or post graduate degree/diploma or even a certificate course run by the University of Lucknow or any other University or an Institute for academic or professional learning.
  • University reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.
  • If the candidate has passed out from Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayag, Allahabad or Nadwa College, Lucknow and has not passed Intermediate with English language then he/she will not be eligible for admission.
  • All foreign students seeking admission in the University are compulsorily required to have knowledge of Hindi or English language. Medium of study in University is Hindi and English.
  • Weightage: The final merit of the candidates bearing the Outstanding sports person, N.C.C “B” certificate and girl candidates of Faculty of Law will be determined in the merit list by adding 5%, 2.5%, 5% of the total marks obtained by him/her in the combined merit.
  • For admission to the Faculty of Law
    • For the students taking admission to the LL.B. (Integrated) course there shall be no lateral entry on the plea of graduation in any subject or exit by way of awarding a degree splitting the course at any intermediary stage of the course.
    • The relevant UGC/BCI rules (as amended from time to time) shall be binding.
  • All disputes regarding interpretation of provision of Ordinance related to the admission shall be referred to the Vice-Chancellor/Admission Committee of University of Lucknow and whose decision shall be final.
  • All the legal matters pertaining to the admission shall be subject to Lucknow Judicature only.

LUCSAT BCA Application FAQ

1) Where can I get the application form?

There is no separate application form needed. All candidates have to register and apply through university website.

2) I'm facing problems while uploading the photograph. What can I do now?

After submitting the application, on the next page, photograph has to be uploaded with signature by attaching the file. A sample photo has been uploaded on the admission website.

3) What is transaction ID?

SBI will provide a unique code number called the Transaction ID after the payment of application fee. It is required for completing the online application form after registration. Candidates submitting the fees through e-challan generated from the bank website should not get confused between this and the journal number. The transaction ID begins with the alphabet "LU".

4) I forget to get the print copy of the application. What can I do?

Go the website & click on the download the submitted form link.

5) Is there any need to submit the admission form through offline mode?

No,you are not allowed.

6) If I have paid application fee more than once, what should i do? Is refund applicable on the full amount?

In case you have paid application fee more than once by mistake or for any other reason (you find the amount has been debited from you more than once), please immediately send a mail to university. The admissions office will cross-check the same and inform you of the refund possibility.  
As regards the refund amount, please note that the refund for the additional payments, if any, will be only for the fee amount that was charged by the Institute and will not include the Transaction and/or Bank charges paid as part of the online payment process. The refund process will begin after the exam date and it may take 60 working days for this.  
We suggest you have patience when doing the online transaction and check whether the payment has not been successful before retrying.

7) I belong to SC category. Is there any relaxation in application fee?

Yes. Check the application fee section above for details.

8) What are the documents I have to upload during application form filling?

You only have to upload scanned photograph & signature.

9) I don’t have a valid email id. Can I fill the form with my friend email id?

No, you have to use your own email id. Email ID should be used for future communication.

10) When will I get my Admit Card?

Admit card will be available for view and print in the first week of June (onwards). You will have to log onto the LUCSAT website with your registered User ID. You will be eligible for an Admit Card only upon submission of online application form. You will receive an automated email confirmation upon successful submission from website.

11) What ID proof should be shown in the entrance examination hall (i.e Voter’s ID, Passport, Driving license with photo)?

If you possess a valid admit card with photograph issued by us, there is no need for any other ID proof.
