Create Login ID/Download Application form
  • For Offline Application Form:
    • Sale of Application Form and Information Brochure shall commence from affiliated Institutes, NCHMCT OFFICE, NOIDA. Detail shall be available on the Council’s website www.nchm.nic.in.
  • For Online Application Form:
    • Candidates may also apply through on-line from website www.nchm.nic.in.
Complete the Application Form
  • Open the Link on the web page and fill personal information like:
    • Nationality
    • State of Eligibility

    • Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)

Upload Documents Photograph and Signature
  • For online:
    • Participants should upload all scanned copy of their Documents in required size and format.
    • Upload your passport size photograph in the required pixels.
  • For offline:
    • Attested photocopies of original documents through any gazetted officer are required.
    • Attach your passport size photograph in the provide box .

Note: Documents may include Passport size photograph, Community/Caste Certificate (only if the applicant belongs to OBC/SC/ST), Educational Documents, Identity Proof, Domicile Certificate(if applicable) and other supporting documents as mentioned.

Payment of Fees
  • Amount of fee Rs. 1000/-.
  • The application fee payment can be done online with the help of a Credit Card/Debit Card.
  • For offline payment, aspirants can send a DD or Demand Draft drawn in favor of 'NCHMCT' payable at Delhi/Noida.

How to Apply for NCHMCT JEE 2017

  • GUIDELINES FOR FILLING UP THE APPLICATION FORM FOR JEE
  • The candidates are advised to go through the Admission Brochure carefully and acquaint themselves with all requirements in respect to filling up of the Application Form for JEE- 2017.
  • It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to make sure that he/she is eligible and fulfils all the conditions prescribed for admission.
  • If ineligibility of a candidate is detected at any stage before or after examination/declaration of result or during any stage of the programme, his/her candidature/admission will be cancelled without any notice, disciplinary action will be taken against him/her and entire fee will also be forfeited.
  • The candidate must fill the application form in his/her own handwriting, clearly, legibly and in block letters.
  • The Application Form should be filled in English only.
  • Incomplete Application Form will be summarily rejected and no request will be entertained in this regard.
  • Candidate should write his/her name in CAPITAL LETTERS (IN ENGLISH) as given in Class X or equivalent certificate. Write a single letter in a box. Do not leave any blank box within any word of your name. Leave only one blank box between consecutive words of your name. If your name has several initials, leave one blank after each of them.
  • Name of Mother/Father: Write the name of your Mother or Father exactly as in your Class X or equivalent certificate. Leave one and only one blank box between consecutives words of your mother’s / father’s name.
  • Date of birth: Enter the date, month and year of your birth as per English Calendar and as recorded in your School/Board (Class-X) Pre-University examination certificate. Use numerals 01 to 31 for Date, JAN to DEC for Month and four digits for year of birth. For example, if born on 16 th August, 1995, the date should be entered as follows: 16.08.1995. Darken the appropriate ovals for date, month and year in each column.
  • Category: Darken the appropriate ovals for your categories- General(GEN), Scheduled Caste(SC),Scheduled Tribe(ST), Other Backward Classes(OBC (Non Creamy Layer), and sub category such as Physically Disabled(PD) and Kashmiri Migrant(KM). Categories once declared by the candidate, cannot be changed at a later date (at the time of Counselling/admission). If no category is specified, you would be considered as falling under ‘General’ category only. And, no claim whatsoever shall be entertained thereafter. If a candidate falls in more than one category, he/she can darken more than one oval, e.g., if a candidate falls in SC & Physically Disabled categories then he/she should darken the ovals for SC and PD Categories.
  • Gender: Darken the appropriate oval indicated for ‘Male’ , ‘Female’ or Other.
  • Qualifying Exam: Darken the oval titled “Passed” if you have already passed the 10+2 or any other specified qualifying examination, which makes you eligible for the Entrance Test. Darken the oval titled “APPEARING” if you are appearing for the examination, which makes you eligible. The title “APPEARING’ covers the cases of “APPEARED” candidates also.
  • Nationality: If your nationality is Indian, darken the oval indicated for “INDIAN”. If your nationality is not Indian; darken the oval indicated for “OTHERS”.
  • Mailing Address: Write your name and complete mailing address IN CAPITAL LETTERS including the PIN CODE along with Telephone/ Mobile numbers with relevant STD Code at which the communication is to be sent.
  • Photograph of the candidate: The candidate should affix his/her recent colour photograph with white background (without attestation) taken not more than three months old. The photograph should be pasted (NOT STAPLED) in the space marked for it.
  • Centre of Test: Refer to the list of Centres of Joint Entrance Examination 2017. Fill in the code from where candidate wishes to appear for Joint Entrance Examination.
  • Verification and Counter signatures: While filing up of the application form, the candidate must verify the correctness of all the particulars furnished by him/her by putting his/her signature at the appropriate spaces provided for the purpose in the application form. Signature is also required to be put within the box provided.
  • The candidate must also get his/her application form countersigned by the parent/guardian. Relationship of the person countersigning the application form with the candidate should also be specified in the box meant for the purpose. In case any candidate is found to have furnished false information or is found to have concealed any material information in his/her application, he/she will be debarred from admission. Further, such a candidate shall also be liable for punishment.

Eligibility for NCHMCT JEE 2017

QUALIFYING EXAMINATION:

  • A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
  • Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2017 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2017.
  • The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents at the time of admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will stand cancelled.

QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS FOR INDIAN STUDENTS:

  • Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state.
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects, result of which should be available upto 30.09.2017.

Age: For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2017. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1995 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2017. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1992 are eligible. Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of counselling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counselling/admission.

NCHMCT JEE 2017 Relaxation Policy

Reservation Policy
As per Government of India rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them. Benefit of reservation shall be given only to those classes/castes/tribes which are in the respective Central List published by the Government of India.

RESERVATION FOR SCHEDULED CASTE/ SCHEDULED TRIBE
For the SC and ST categories, 15% and 7.5% seats, respectively, are reserved in Central and State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. Candidates belonging to SC / ST categories will be required to produce the original caste/tribe certificate issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format during admission. Certificates in any other format will not be accepted. Seats remaining vacant in these categories shall not be filled by candidates belonging to any other categories.

OBC CANDIDATES
27% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC (Non creamy layer) whose name is listed in Central Govt. OBC list for admission in Central Govt. Institutes of Hotel Management only. Those belong to the creamy layer of OBC or whose name listed as OBC in the state Govt. list are NOT entitled for OBC reservation. Seats remaining vacant in this category shall be filled through General Category candidates, as per Hon,ble Supreme Court ruling. The OBC candidates (non-creamy layer) will be required to produce original OBC (NCL), caste certificate issued on or after 1 st April, 2016 by a competent authority in the prescribed format at the time of Counselling/Admission.

PHYSICALLY DISABLED (PD)
3% of seats across the board are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates in all Central & State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. For any category of disability (viz. loco motor, visual, dyslexia, speech, and /or hearing) benefit would be given to those who have at least 40% physical impairment. The percentage of disability of the candidates will be required to be certified by Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Central Govt. / State Govt./ Municipal Corporation run Hospitals only. Such candidates are required to produce the original Medical Certificate both at the time of Counselling and at the time of Admission to the Institute. In case of any dispute in determining the eligibility under PD category, the decision of the Medical Board to be constituted by Institute would be final. 

RESERVATION FOR KASHMIRI MIGRANT(Subject to notification from Ministry of HRD for academic session 2017-18)
One seat (Supernumerary) in each Central and State Government affiliated IHM is provided for Registered Kashmiri Migrants. Such applicants shall have to qualify the JEE 2017. Candidates registered with different State Govt. should produce proof of registration in original at the time of Councelling and at the time of admission to the Institutes.

NCHMCT JEE Application FAQ

1) What is NCHM JEE ?

NCHM Joint Entrance Exam (NCHM JEE ) is conducted by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida for taking for admission Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Hospitality and Hotel Administration program for this year academic session .

2) How to apply for NCHM JEE ?

  • Candidates can apply online.
  • Sale of Application Form and Information Brochure shall commence from affiliated Institutes, NCHMCT OFFICE, NOIDA.

3) Can I change my written test centre later on?

No, you can’t change Written Test Centre within a city. However, under exceptional circumstances, the institute may permit the change of centre if an applicant has valid reasons. In such case, the candidate will have to send an application with a valid reason to JEE Cell on or before 14.04.2017 along with non-refundable fees of Rs.1000/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of NCHMCT, payable at Delhi/ Noida.
The National Council for Hotel Management reserves the right to reject such request in case the test centre is not in a position to accommodate any extra candidate.

4) Do I need to attest my photograph before appearing for NCHMCT JEE ?

Yes, candidates appearing for NCHMCT JEE will need to attest the photographs on the admit card by a Gazetted Officer or Head of the Institute/School from where the candidate has passed or is passing.

5) How, Where and by When to Send your completed Application form?

Duly completed Application Form should be sent to "JEE CELL" National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, A-34, Sector 62, Noida-201309" in the pre-addressed envelope by Registered Post / Speed Post . Ensure that the Application Form is not folded. (Application sent through private courier service will not be accepted). Applications mailed by Registered/Speed Post after last date shall also not be accepted. Application can also be submitted by hand at NCHMCT, NOIDA. The last date for receipt of Application Form is 14th April-2017.

6) If I missed to do online registration and choice filling during the given schedule, can I register afterwards during the Counselling?

Not permitted during the First and Second Round of Counselling, but a candidate can register afresh during Third Round (Spot) of Counselling for allotment of available  .

7) In case I am placed in COMPARTMENT in 10+2 result of 2017, can I register for Counselling?

Yes, however candidate will have to submit an undertaking in the prescribed format at the time of admission stating that he/she will submit passing certificate of 10+2 latest by 30.09.2017 failing which his/her admission will stand cancelled and fees forfeited.

8) In case my result is not declared by the time of Counselling, can I register for Counselling?

Yes, however, candidate will have to submit an undertaking in the prescribed format at the time of admission stating that he/she will submit passing certificate of 10+2 latest by 30.09.2017 failing which his/her admission is liable to be cancelled and fees forfeited.
