Mathematics

iii) Differential and integral Equations

Preparation Strategy

Make a proper Time Table

It is very important that you make a time table and stick to it and you will have an exact idea of what you are required to study and the time required for it.

Concept clarity rather than rote learning

It is essential that you have a clear idea of the formulas and concepts rather than rote learning of things for the papers. While you might require it for memorizing formulas it is important that for other stuff you make sure you clear your basis and concepts before moving on.

Prepare Notes

It is very important make small notes or a comprehensive list of formulas on each covered topic and chapter which will come in handy at the time of revision. This will require you to be regular with your work but will surely make things easy at the time of revision.

Seek guidance

It is not possible for you to know everything in your syllabus, at least not at the time of preparation. Sooner or later you will run into a concept or so which will give you trouble and then it is best you seek guidance from an instructor or a teacher. It is necessary that you clear your doubts at regular intervals and don’t prolong things for long. Getting into a good coaching class is nothing to be ashamed off and if anything a regular coaching class will enable you to avoid roadblocks in your preparation.

Even though there may be a complete change in the exam pattern or the expected questions altogether,it is important that you practice on the sample and previous years question papers available for the engineering exam you’d be attempting. You will know the existing pattern and have a fair idea of the type of questions to expect in the paper along with the time constraint.

BUAT 2016 Conducting Body

Banasthali Vidyapith is a fully residential women's university which offers an integrated system extending from the primary to the Ph.D. level. It was on October 6, 1935, that Smt. Ratan Shastri and Pandit Hiralal Shastri founded Banasthali to fill up the vacuum caused by the sudden death of their highly talented and promising daughter Shantabai. They had high expectations that she would work for women's cause when she would grow up. But destiny ordained otherwise. Thus, Banasthali owes its existence neither to the zeal of an educationist, nor to that of a social reformer. It is also not the creation of a Philanthropist's purse. It has arisen like the fabled phoenix from the ashes of a blossoming flower Shantabai. Banasthali is one of the five universities in India meant exclusively for Women. Over these seventy-five years, Banasthali has developed into a National Centre for women's education. Banasthali's educational program aims at an all-round development of the student's personality.

1) How does one apply?

The admission forms are normally available in the month of January onwards. The admission advertisements appear in the National and Regional Newspapers where all the details are given. You could get the form by sending Rs. 800/- by demand draft to The Secretary, Banasthali Vidyapith and send the duely filled form by the Last Date given in the Admission Notice. 

2) On whose name the payments are to be made?

The payments are not accepted by cheque. The draft can be drawn on any bank in favour of "Banasthali Vidyapith" payable at Banasthali Vidyapith. 

3) Is Banasthali only for women?

Banasthali University  is only for women providing education from Nursery to Ph. D. level.

4) Who conducts Banasthali University Aptitude Test For M.Tech?

5) In how many ways can one get the prospectus and the form?

The form can be got in 3 ways through a demand draft of Rs. 800 or in person for Rs. 800 or online along with a dd of Rs. 800.

11) What is the eligiblity criteria for Banasthali University Aptitude Test For M.Tech?

  • M.Tech.(Computer Science): B.E./B.Tech.(Computer Science/Engg)/M.Sc.(Comp.Sc.)/MCA/M.Sc.(Maths: Theoretical Computer Science) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.  
  • M.Tech.(Information Technology): B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc.(Engg.) in CS/IT/ECE/EE or MCA/M.Sc.(IT/CS/Physics/Mathematics) or any other equivalent degree in CS/IT from a recognized university with 55% marks.
  • M.Tech.(VLSI Design): B.E./B.Tech.(CS/Electronics), MCA/M.Sc.(CS), M.Sc.(Electronics) with 55% marks.
  • The minimum eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude Test for students passing the qualifying examination from  
  • Banasthali University will be 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.   
  • The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude test for SC/ST applicants for all these courses is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.  
  • Applicants who fail to appear in the Aptitude test will not be considered under any circumstances.
