Selection for admission will be strictly on the basis of rank secured in the merit list subject to the availability of seats in the disciplines at the time of counselling for admission. All the applicants selected for admission to Medicine and Dentistry courses shall be required to be first examined by the Medical Board of Goa Medical College, Bambolim and only those found medically fit, shall be admitted to these courses. Candidates admitted to MBBS, BDS, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing Courses are required to sign a bond with the Government/Institution for specified amount. Guidelines For Merit List for Bachelor Of Pharmacy a. The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks scored at GCET-2016 in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry. b. In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, an applicant with more marks in GCET-2016 Chemistry shall be placed higher in the merit list. c. In case the marks in GCET-2016 in Chemistry are also equal, an applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry at the qualifying examination (Std.XII the ) will be placed higher in the merit list. In the case of the tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Chemistry at the qualifying examination (Std.XII the ) will be placed higher in the merit list. d. If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with the earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit. Results Publication of Result (Tentative) is 18-05-16
The counselling of qualified candidates shall be held on the university campus. The exact schedule of counselling / percentage of seat allocation shall be intimated later to the qualified candidates along with their rank cards. Counselling and seat allocation will be purely on merit basis i.e. based on the performance in the Entrance Examination.
