College Accepting JEMAT - Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test
The candidates for allotting admission will be shortlisted at this Exam. Based on their performance in the JEMAT, they will further be shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) to assess the candidate’s overall skill and potential to pursue MBA. The GE offers the candidate with a platform to showcase the ability to work in a team, overall personality and thoughts clarity. Whereas PI, on the other hand helps in understanding a candidates knowledge about the communication industry and rough skills in line with the requirements of this industry. All the aspiring candidates have to appear in the written entrance test. Candidates who clear the written test will be called for Personal Interview and General Discussion. Final selection will be based on the following weight ages : a) Written Test 80% b) Personal Interview 10% c) General Discussion 10% Results:- Third week of September 2016
The tentative date for commencement of JEMAT Counselling will fall in the last week of September. For admission into management institutes in the state of West Bengal, the candidates will be selected on the following basis – Score of either CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or JEMAT Phase-2 Or from one National level test Or only from State level test To participate in the counselling, the candidates must primarily qualify the JEMAT cutoff and thereafter they will be called up for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. During the counseling, the candidates will be required to bring in their documents as required for verification and submission. If they fail to do so, the candidature of such candidates will be canceled.
