General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2017. Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination Note- 1: Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI category. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances. 2:Candidates with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi who will equate their qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India. This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of counseling. Students who have taken CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Board Qualifications need not submit the certificate. Results- The result of exam will be declared on 30-06-2017.
From this year will adopt the On-Line Counselling Method. This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of counselling. Students who have taken CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Board Qualifications need not submit the certificate. GD/PI: Based on the marks scored in Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU- OET), Manipal University will declare a shortlist of candidates eligible for GD & Interview. Successful candidates selected for GD & Interview will be announced in the website on 22.06.2017. The number of candidates included in the shortlist will be more than the total number of seats available. Mere inclusion in the shortlist does not guarantee admission. Candidates called for GD & Interview must bring all the original certificates and e-Hall ticket.The GD & Interview will be held in Manipal on 29.06.2017 and 30.06.2017. The exact schedule will be displayed in the website. Merit List: General Category: Based on the marks obtained in MU-OET, GD & Interview, Manipal University will declare a list of candidates in the order of merit on or before 01.07.2017 in the website. Foreign/NRI Category: A separate merit list of the applicants under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately.
