AP PGECET 2024 counselling process will be conducted in the online mode commencing tentatively from the second week of July, 2024. Only those candidates who have successfully cleared the AP PGECET 2024 exam will be eligible to take part in the counselling of AP PGECET 2024. Candidates appearing for the AP PGECET counselling 2024 must note that there will be separate counselling for GATE / GPAT candidate holders. There are various steps of AP PGECET counselling 2024 which include online registration, counselling fee payment, verification of documents, AP PGECET choice filling, seat allotment and reporting at the allotted institute.

AP PGECET Certificate Verification

Before proceeding to the counselling process, the first step is to verify all the certificates.

• Registration will be done only at the respective help centre only
• One should reach the venue and wait for the announcement from the authorities
• Candidates need to submit an AP PGECET rank card to the personnel at the entrance
• When a candidate’s rank is called, he/she has to pay the counselling fee. Post that, the AP PGECET 2024 registration form will be given to them
• Fill in details like AP PGECET 2024 Hall ticket number and rank in the form
• In the next announcement, the candidate will be called for document verification

AP PGECET Counselling 2024 Registration

• Candidates who successfully clear the entrance exam for the AP PGECET 2024 should fill out the registration form of the AP PGECET counselling 2024 process.
• The AP PGECET counselling form 2024 requires candidates to provide details about their eligibility, such as the test year, paper code, registration number, gender, and last qualifying score.

Payment of AP PGECET 2024 Counselling Fee

• Every candidate must ensure to pay the counselling fee before going to the next step. 

AP PGECET Choice Filling 2024

• Candidates must fill the AP PGECET counselling registration form 2024 with the course and institute as per their preference.
• During the registration process for AP PGECET 2024 counselling, candidates will be shown a number of options; they must select them in the order that they most prefer.
• Before submitting their final choices for the 2024 AP PGECET counselling, candidates may change their preferences in the AP PGECET choice filling process.
• If the candidates don't lock up their choices before the deadline, they will be locked automatically.

Documents Required for AP PGECET Certificate Verification

Candidates will have to bring the original documents with 2 sets of photocopies at the time of verification. Mentioned below are the requisite documents for the process:

• AP PGECET Rank Card 2024
• SSC Passing Certificate
• Intermediate or Equivalent exam mark sheet and passing certificate
• 10th and 12th class Mark Sheet and passing certificate
• GATE Score Card/GPAT Score Card 2024 
• Migration or Transfer Certificate
• Income certificate
• Caste certificate (if required)
• Aadhar card
• Residence certificate of either of parents for 10 years in A.P/Telangana excluding the period of their employment outside A.P/Telangana from M.R.O. for candidates who studied outside the state of AP/Telangana
• Disability Certificate (if applicable)
• PC/Degree Certificate & Memorandum of marks of Qualifying Examination
• Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates

Documents Required by Special Category Candidates:

PH Category:Candidates who belong to the category have to submit a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and should have a disability of 40% and above.

CAP Category: Candidates who belong to this category should submit the following documents:

• Service certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer
• Identity Card
• Serving persons have to submit Service Certificates from their workplace showing the relationship with the candidate
• The candidate whose parents are domicile of AP/Telangana is considered to be eligible to come under the CAP category
• Discharge Book for verification

NCC Category: Candidates who belong to this category have to submit their A, B, C certificates

AP PGECET 2024 Counselling for GATE/GPAT Candidates

Here is what the candidates applying for the AP PGECET 2024 counselling process based on GATE or GPAT scores have to do -

Step 1: The candidates have to visit the official website of APSCHE

Step 2: The candidates have to search for the “AP PGECET 2024 Counselling” link on the homepage of the official website for registration purposes

Step 3: The candidates will be asked to choose their desired stream from the drop-down list (GATE/GPAT)

Step 4: In this step, the candidates will be asked to fill in their details such as name, contact number, qualifying degree etc

Step 5: After filling in all the details asked for, the candidates have to click on the “Initiate Payment” tab to pay the counselling registration fee

Step 6: The candidates have to use any of the available online payment methods to pay an amount of 659 rupees (plus Taxes) to register for the AP PGECET 2024 counselling process

Step 7: After receiving payment confirmation, the candidates have to visit the official website again to check their payment status by using their contact number and GATE/GPAT Admit Card number

While allocating seats, first preference will be given to the GATE/GPAT applicants and the remaining seats will be filled by AP PGECET qualified candidates.

Certificates Required During AP PGECET 2024 Counselling

The candidates must not forget to carry the following certificates during the AP PGECET 2024 counseling procedure:

• AP PGECET 2024 rank card (or GATE/GPAT 2024 scorecard)
• Admit card of AP PGECET 2024
• Class Xth certificate
• Study certificates (from class Xth till graduation)
• Residence certificate
• Integrated Community Certificate (OBC/SC/ST candidates)
• Residence certificate (either parent for a period of 10 years)
• Transfer certificate
• Income certificate (Ration card etc)
• EWS certificate (issued by Tehsildar)

Some Important Points Regarding AP PGECET 2024 Counselling

Here are some pointers regarding the AP PGECET 2024 counselling process which must be remembered by the candidates:

• GATE/GPAT eligible and qualified candidates have to attend the AP PGECET 20244 web counselling process for admission into M.Tech/M.E/Pharma.D (PB)/M. Pharmacy courses and have to visit any of the Helpline centres mentioned below for the same

• Admission will be granted after the candidates satisfy all the prescribed criteria 

• Admission will be confirmed once the candidates submit the tuition fee

• Seats left after the conclusion of seat allotment of GATE/GPAT candidates will be available for AP PGECET candidates

• The candidates will not receive any separate notification regarding the AP PGECET 2024 counselling process from the authorities

• Only by attending the counselling, the candidates will not be guaranteed a seat

• A non-refundable processing fee has to be paid by the candidates using any of the available online payment methods
