JNUEE 2023 Counselling Process is held in order to allocate seats to deserving candidates in various programmes offered by Jawaharlal Nehru University. Candidates are admitted to JNU based on their performance in the All India Level Entrance Examination. Candidates are called for viva voce for selection in PhD through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, and the final merit list is made with 70% weightage to CBT score and 30% weightage to Viva voce.
JNU will also release a pre-enrolment form for those courses which are offered at the University. The candidates, after qualifying the JNUEE 2023 cutoff criteria, have to fill up the JNUEE pre-enrolment form in which they will be required to enter their JNUEE 2023 details and the course they aspire of getting into. The JNUEE counselling 2023 will be conducted based on the information furnished by the candidates in the JNUEE pre-enrolment form.
The candidates will be asked to produce all the important documents during the counselling process of JNUEE 2023 after the JNU officials release a merit list containing the name of those candidates eligible for the counselling process of JNUEE 2023. Once the documents are verified, the candidates will be required to deposit the academic fee for the confirmation of the seat allocated to them.
If a candidate skips any of the above-mentioned steps due to any reason, the seat allocated to him/her will be treated as vacant and the same will be allocated to the next candidate. Find out more about the JNUEE 2023 counselling process in the sections that follow.

Soon after the result declaration, the admission process of JNU will commence. On the basis of performance in the JNUEE 2023, shortlisted candidates are invited for the counselling. The admission process depends on the marks scored by candidates in the exam.
JNU conducts viva-voce (according to the programmes) for the qualified candidates during the JNU admission process. The shortlisted candidates have to keep their documents ready at the time of the admission process of JNU.

Dear student, the MA English aspirants must have studied English as one of the compulsory subjects at the graduation level or must have a bachelor’s degree in English (or an allied discipline) to be eligible for admission. Some institutions accept an entrance exam score while some others accept the previous qualifying exam score of the applicants for admission purpose.
