Allahabad University is being conducted every year Motilal Nehru Institute of Research and Business Administration (MONIRBA) for the admission to MBA course. Here is the detailed information about Selection and counselling process.

Selection Procedure: -

  • The final list of selected Students shall be drawn on the basis of the overall performance of the Students in the Written and Oral Tests.
  • You have to appear in all parts of the Written Tests and all the Oral Tests; thus, you, who is, for whatsoever reason, absent at one or all the Oral Test(s) shall not be considered for final selection for admission.
  • Final result shall be declared on the official website of MONIRBA and displayed on the notice board of MONIRBA.

IN CASE OF TIE :
While drawing the list of finally selected Students a tie between two or more Students securing identical score shall be decided as follows :

  • Score in the Written Test, in case of their total marks being same.
  • Percentage Marks scored in Graduate Examination, in case of score in written test being same,
  • By drawing a lottery.
  • If a student fails to collect the intimation or deposit the fee by the required date normally he/she shall not be granted extension of time and the vacancy so created shall be filled up by the waiting list candidate in order of merit.

Counselling Process:

  • MONIRBA Counseling will happen in the month of February.You have to confirm your ranking based on merit list then have to confirm the counseling date from the official website of MONIRBA
  • You have to also decide your choice of course before you wish to appear for MONIRBA counseling, but based on your ranking .

Documents required:-

The attested copy of the following documents should be attached with the application form:

  • 10th and 10+2 exam mark sheets.
  • Certificate of 10th.
  • Mark sheets of under graduate exam.
  • Certificate for the final year candidates.
  • Caste certificate (if any).
  • Two self addressed envelope.
  • Two self addressed post card.

MONIRBA MBA Counselling FAQ

1) Am I guaranteed a seat in a college with the MONIRBA MBA Admission Test score?

NO. MONIRBA MBA Admission Test is only one of the requirements in the admission process into a course. Student’s will have to adhere to all the prerequisite of the admission.

2) Is it necessary to carry original mark sheet of Qualifying examination or marks will be verified from photocopy of mark-sheet?   

No. It’s necessary to carry original mark sheet of qualifying examination. Marks will be verified from the original mark sheet only. You must produce original mark sheet at the time document verification.

3) I do not have Main category (OBC/ SC/ ST) certificate and/ or Sub- category (AF/ FF/ HC) certificate. What should I do?

Get your certificate from the competent authority in prescribed format.

4) I have my own Domicile certificate instead of my parents certificate. Can I submit it?  

Domicile certificate of your father or mother will be required only . Your domicile certificate will not be accepted in place of your Parent domicile certificate.

5)  Is it possible to appear in counseling without qualifying MONIRBA MBA Admission Test ?

No. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the further processes .

6)  I do not have Affidavit for Gap period. What should I do?

The Affidavit for Gap period can be arranged from a local NOTARY. If you find any difficulty in making it, Contact DV&CC Center In-charge.

8) What will happen if I do not have proper Income certificate of parents?   

If you submit income certificate of your parents then you will be eligible for Tuition Fee Waiver Seats also. You will not be eligible or considered for tuition waiver seats at the time of seat choice locking if you won’t be allowed to provide income certificate during document verification process. Get income certificate of your parents and in case you think that you would not get get the certificate even by Special Verification time, participate in Verification today.
