SRM Phase 1 result 2024 is expected to be out on April 27, 2024. The official SRMJEEE 2024 result date is yet to be announced. SRMIST will announce the SRMJEEE result online on its official website - srmist.edu.in separately for each phase of the examination. Students will also be notified of the results through their registered email ID. The SRM Phase 1 result 2024 will be published in the form of a rank card. Candidates can access the SRMJEEE result or rank card with their login credentials i.e. application number and password. The result includes details like the candidate's name, roll number, percentile score, rank etc. 

Following the release of the SRM results 2024, the authority will also publish a final merit list based on the overall scores and ranks of the candidates to take admission to the engineering courses. The SRMJEEE 2024 rank list will have the names of shortlisted candidates as per their ranks. How to Check SRMJEEE Result 2024?

SRM Phase 1 result will be released on the official website - srmist.edu.in. Students will be able to check their results in the form of a rank card. Based on the scores obtained in SRMJEEE result, online counselling followed by the admission process will be conducted for qualified candidates. To check the SRMJEEE results 2024, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below.

• Click on the link that says 'SRM Phase 1 Result 2024'

• A new page will open from where candidates can access the applicant dashboard. Enter the SRMJEEE Application number and password and answer the security question.

• Next, click on 'Submit'.

How to Calculate of SRMJEEE Result Scores 2024?

The SRMJEEE exam is conducted in multiple slots. When an exam is conducted in more than one slot, there can be variations in the difficulty level of the exams. To make sure that no student is either advantaged or disadvantaged by the difficulty level of the exam, the scores of SRMJEEE 2024 are calculated using the normalization process. With the help of this process, the scores of candidates are normalized to compensate for varying difficulty levels of the exams. 

Under the process of normalisation, candidates are awarded two kinds of marks. The marks are:

• Normalised Marks: Normalised marks of a candidate are the modified marks awarded to her/him after taking into account the relative difficulty level of her/his slot in comparison to the difficulty levels of the other slots of the same discipline. 

• Raw Marks: Raw marks of a candidate are the actual marks obtained by her/him in SRMJEEE 2024.

To calculate the SRMJEEE result score, the percentile score of the candidates is used. With the help of the percentile score of a candidate she/he will score in SRMJEEE 2024, the percentage of candidates who have scored below that candidate can be calculated. Mentioned below is the formula that is used to calculate the percentile score of a candidate in SRMJEEE.

Note - 

• If the slot of a group of candidates is calculated to be relatively more difficult than the other slots of the same discipline, then the normalized marks of the candidates will be more than their actual marks. 

• If the slot of a group of candidates is calculated to be easier than the other slots of the same discipline, then the normalized marks of the candidates will be less than their actual marks. 

SRMJEEE 2024 Merit List

After the announcement of the result, the merit list of SRMJEEE 2024 will be announced. The SRMJEEE 2024 rank list will be published on the official website of Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology, also known as SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Candidates who make it to the merit list of the exam will be called for the counselling process of SRMJEEE 2024.

The  SRMJEEE merit list 2024 is generated based on the scores of candidates in the exam. To make it to the list, candidates need to qualify for the exam. Candidates who will successfully manage to meet the SRMJEEE cutoff 2024 are mentioned in the merit list of the exam. The merit list is published in two parts: a Drawing List and a Waiting List. candidates who are mentioned on the Drawing list are allocated seats on a first come first serve basis. If some seats remain vacant, then those seats are filled with the help of a Waiting list.
