Kerala CEE - MCA Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have studied a Degree course with minimum 3 years duration (after 10+2), with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Engineering and Technology as a Main/ Subsidiary/ Core subject at the Degree level.

The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their Degree examination.

For SEBC and physically handicapped candidates, the aggregate marks required is 45%.

For SC and ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.

Note:

  1. Candidate seeking admission to the course should be qualified from any University in Kerala or any other Universities, recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
  2. Final Year regular Bachelor’s Degree students are also permitted to appear for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the original degree certificate and mark lists of all parts of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of admission.

Age- There is no upper or lower age limit.

Marks- He/she should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Relaxation policy (if any)- He/she should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category

Extra Eligibility Criteria

Nativity- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority showing that the candidate is a native of any State or Union Territory of India should be furnished in the prescribed format along with the application. True copies of the birth certificate issued by the competent authority/ passport/ school certificate showing place of birth will also be accepted as proof of nativity.

Application Process

Fees For General and SEBC candidates, the application fee is Rs.800/- and for SC/ST Candidates, the application fee is Rs.400/- Application process Prospectus and Online Application form will be available on website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in ). The Online Application procedure is common for General Quota and Service Quota candidates. Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided in the website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in )of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the printout. Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Reservation policy- Application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 400/-
