WBJEE (MBBS) Eligibility
As per the norms and standards of the Medical Council of India:
- Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination recognized by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences in regular mode with Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences taken together (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, 45% for Pwd candidates) and 30% marks in English (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
Age- Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31.12.2016 and there is no upper age limit.
Marks- At least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences taken together in 10+2.(40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, 45% for Pwd candidates in 10+2).
